Hi all

Just wanted to tell you all a little story

As a child in the mid eighties i was a massive fan of the transformers and star wars before that so im a person on their thirties. I used to draw my own transformer comic taking inspiraton from the marvel uk comics and i drew my own stories and i was very proud of it. I had galvatron and metropolex and i brought optimus prime back from the dead brefore the tv series did it and had tailgate get destroyed by starscream get rebuilt by rathchet and get his revenge on starscream. i had metroplex fight galvatron and cyclonus. Transformers inspired me to be so creative and while i never became an artist or comic book writer i was always proud of my own personal comic which had aboutb 50 pages to it and was colour throughout.

Did anyonre else ever draw their own comics as kids and perhaps still have them? Mine is long gone but i was so proud of it. thanks for reading

till all are one

It's too bad that you don't still have them. As someone who loves drawing/sketching, I know how much time and patience it can take to make 50 pages, full color, by yourself. :APPLAUSE:

To answer your question, I only drew a few comics and a lot of stand alone pictures of Transformers as a kid, but I don't have them anymore, either.

Not so much comic but short stories. I still do rough sketches for various transformers i have in my head. I feel lucky that im now at the point where i have enough experience and knowledge to begin taking those concepts into the computer as 3d models for fun.

I did some when I in 4th grade. I tried doing a comic version of Five Faces of Darkness & the Headmaster trilogy. Everyone is drawn in front & side views as a bunch of blocks. I can't remember if I still have them or not, because I recall trying to donate them to my library. Even at that age I did some continuity revisions...

1. Optimus Prime didn't die. He flew off in an Ark-looking ship & left Rodimus Prime in charge. I hadn't seen the movie before Season 3, so I just figured Optimus up and left.

2. Megatron was turned into Galvatron while in the lava. I explained it through this goofy sequence of Megatron's head gradually changing into Galvatron's.

3. One of the Aerialbots had a force field. Sixshot took out 4 Aerialbots except for (I think) Slingshot, who used some kind of force field to deflect being shot at. I think it was some excuse I made so Sixshot could use his 6th mode to take him down.

4. Punch/Counterpunch's double-agent skills are overrated. Counterpunch walks up to Pounce & Wingspan and asks if they need any help, and they tell him to get lost. So he turns into Punch RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM and tries to take them on. Apparently the concept of undercover epsionage was lost on me.

5. Shadowy figure saves the day. While everyone's lying around dying there is an Autobot, shaded completely in pencil, who prevents Cybertron from being destroyed. It's a no-brainer who it is, since the sihlouette is Optimus Prime; however the Autobots have to ask their savior who he is (stupid post-movie 'bots). Everyone begins celebrating and Fortress Maximus jumps up in the air and comes crashing down, and the last thing we see is Cybertron shaking from the impact of his jump; I think in my last act Fort Max brought about the end of the Autobots. THE END

I drew some comics myself and I still do it XD I can't stop with it, but when I look at my old works, I only say: "Oh! Gosh! Was that really me?!" They really looked bad LOL In one part a boy points with his little finger at something, not with the pointing-finger XD And now I still draw little comics, but I don't know if I really should ever post them on the internet o.O XD
