A Seeker gestalt?

Yeah, this is one of those "what if..." questions.

Would a Seeker gestalt be a good idea? All 6 members, with of course Starscream being the boss and centerpiece. I'm not sure how the toy would work, but I think the character would be very powerful. The 5 Seekers aren't insubordinate to Starscream, so I think they could work together. And they're all powerful and smart in their own right.

I love an aerial gestalt like Superion/Aerialbots but I favour the seekers as individual characters conceptually. I think they work better without a combiner option.

I actully had this idea a few years ago except I used 5 Seekers with 3 different head types. Thrust being the main body, Ramjet and Dirge being the arms, and Skywarp and Thundercracker are the legs. And they combine to form Starscream.

The 3 different head types I mentioned. Of course the cone head seekers. (Thrust, Dirge, and Ramjet) and the normal seekers (Thundercracker and Skywarp). But for Starscream as a Gestalt to have the same head as a couple of robots that form him I thought was a little wierd so for the 3rd head type would be Starscream's crown.

Depends how you define 'good idea'. If 'fangirl lustbucket', then *yes*. =P~ (Hey, I've put up with slipping on the floor from y'all gushing over Megan Fox!)

If actually expecting increased battle capacity, then, probably, no. Thinking of, say, speed, for example, I suspect that the combined mass wouldn't show any significant increase in speed from all the engines combined--if, that is, they could all fire simultaneously. You cap out speed, due to mass, and you have a less effective fighting gestalt, perhaps, than if you had the 'divide and conquer'. Plus, aerial combat has that added dimension (up/down) that means the smaller and more maneuverable have a distinct advantage. We see this even in modern aircraft--fast and light and underarmored tends to eat big and heavy for lunch. :-B

Rial Vestro--pictures. Pleeeeeeeeeez?!?!?!

HK, drooooooool, nonetheless.

Unfortunatly I can't get to them. I tried to get the pictures before I posted but I can't seem to get into my Photobucket account and they're not on my computer anymore. I sent in a request to Photobucket asking to resend my password but I've recived nothing back from them. I've had the same issue with my Saber Prime YouTube account and basically every web site that I have linked to my old e-mail address. Excite just doesn't want to recive my e-mails anymore.

I still have MySpace linked to my Excite address and if I ever forget the password to get on there I'll probly get the same issue where I won't recive the "forgot password" request and have to start a new MySpace account. Allthough oddly enough I managed to get on MySpace not even knowing that I allready had an account created with the same password I would of used to make it at the time but that seemed a little iffy to me so I changed the password right after joining.

Snipped tale of woe. Yikes. No worries. I still have my (exceedingly naughty) imagination. And you still get My Hero points for having done it in reality.

But if you ever do find those pictures...the fangirls would pay highly for them.

HK, procrastinating. Again. It is my one and only job skill.

I kinda doubt it. The images were recolors, remolds of the Airealbots and I used some of the images from http://nickkelsch.com/transformers/default.aspx as my base.

I doubt a Seeker gestalt would ever be possible, simply because of the fact they have to be able to get along first. And I don't see that happening.

That's not true. Don't we allready have a combiner team that all hate eachother and the result of that hate ends up resulting in a skitsofrenic gestalt mode.

Besides I think it's really only the Animated Seekers who don't get along well with Starscream even though they're all just fragments of him. The seekers from other series actully seemed to get along preddy well.

Sort of.

The Stunticons profiles indicate that they all pretty much hate Motermaster.

Approximately one trillion years again I posted a thread as to the DW guidebooks saying that Nautilator was added to the Seacon unit by some command decree, and wondering why. I got a lot of responses to the tune of he wasn't included in the G1 boxset, which I knew, and that that was the root of the inclusion story in the MTMTE book. Someone however responded with the theory that Decepticon High Command may have been trying to test a gestalt that could be made up of un-likeminded units, and that Nautilator was kind of the beta test of that idea. Theories then flew about who and how could/would be combined, and so I dont thin the Seeker gestalt is really that crazy of an idea. If looked at as individuals and based on their abilities I think the Seekers would actually be one of the better functioning gestalts in terms of what it was capable of.
