Fellow Transformers fansite Allspark.com has posted an ongoing discussion about the Transformers Animated Allspark Almanac that we've reported on, here at Seibertron.com, on several occasions.

In the discussion, Jim Sorenson was kind enough to answer a board members question regarding the possibility of more Transformers Animated content. Here's the Q & A:

HellCat - So how well would this need to sell to get us a follow up and possibly more Animated goodness?

Jim S. - That's a good question. I don't know if there is a magic number, above which the answer is yes, below which the answer is no. The best strategy is to buy one for yourself, advocate to people who might be interested, and above all make some noise. Let IDW and Hasbro know that you like the book by posting on their forum or publishing an amazon review - preferably both. Bill and I (and Marty and Derrick) are super-keen to do the follow-up volume and finish out season 3. I know Marty is itching to do a virtual season 4 in comic book form too. Right now, TPTB will be looking at this volume as a bellwether.

Well Animated fans, you heard the man. The Allspark Almanac is sure to be a treat for fans of the newest TF Cartoon franchise, and if you want more, make sure your voice is heard.

+1 for any form of new Animated TF, I'm still sad that Animated series ended with only 3 seasons, it has a lot of potential imo. btw, when is season 3 of Animated TF coming out anyways? :-?

The million dollar question, then, is "If it DOES come back...how much of the original crew will come back to do it?" Four horrible, horrible words for you all: "Dexter's Laboratory, Season 2." Is it better to have more Transformers: Animated if it means it's going to be done by completely new people?
