Not sure if this slipped under the radar, but I missed it myself until just now.

Trevor Hutchinson has put up his cover for The Last Stand of the Wreckers #1 and it looks awesome. Nick Roche is writing and on art duties so I'm looking forward to that.



So, I believe I'm seeing Springer, Perceptor, Twin Twist and Top Spin; so who's the fifth member of The Wreckers depicted here?

Nice cover. It definitely sets a gritty mood for the mini series.

In a bit of news that slipped under the radar, Trevor Hutchinson posted his cover version to the new IDW Transformers series 'The Last Stand of the Wreckers' and Chris Ryall shared two pages of the interior art, depicting none other than fan-favorite Masterforce baddie, Overlord!

You can see Trevor Hutchinson's art at his deviantart page, and you can see more at Chris Ryall's blog. Yes, this is older news, but looking back, it did get missed, and is of interest to us in the Transformers comic book community.

'Last Stand of the Wreckers' is due out in Jaunary 2010 by Nick Roche.

HUTCH COVER!

Never been a fan of the Wreckers and really dislike Perceptor being one of them. What happened to Scoop?

But that pic of Overlord on his throne really caught my eye. Not even Overlord but my favourite Actionmaster character who wasn't an oldie - Kick Off. Love that it looks like they're going to homage his tech specs and have him fight as a gladiator in a Decepticon arena.

Can't place the Decepticon he's pounding to piston dust though.

the con he's bustin up is just a generic IIRC


but man...i SOOOO wish i could show you guys some of the pages we been doing for this book. I havent been this excited about a project in a long time

im tryin to get the brass to let me show off a panel from a page or somethin [in color! @__@] so cross your fingers! lol

If you are excited about it JOSH, then I assume the rest of us will be too. I love the fact that Overlord has made it even if it is just a cameo (or not?).
