I don't normally visit this area of Seibertron and I feel a bit lost! Can you guys please tell me the names of the comic prequels to the 07 Movie and ROTF? Also, if there's a name for an omnibus version please include that so I can shop around for the cheapest way of reading everything. Am I a skinflint? Not really, it's just that money saved here can go towards buying TFs!

I've found Tales Of The Fallen but it doesn't seem to be released in the UK yet. Does this include everything that happens between films and when will it be released?

Let's see, as I know, the separate comics are:
- Defiance - 4 issue (published before RotF, but in timeline it is before everything)

- 07 movie prequel - 4 issue

07-RotF:
- Reign of Starscream - 4 issue
- Alliance - 4 issue
- Tales of The Fallen - 4 issue, short stories

Urm, no. Reign of Starscream had 5 issues. You were close, though!

Isn't there supposed to be an Omnibus that collects all the Movie comics excluding the ROTF related ones or has that been caned?

It was listed on Amazon ages ago but I don't know what it's called so can't look for it.

So am I right in saying there are 21 movieverse comics?

Ok, Im sorry if this post is going to stick out like crazy, if it does just ignore it, but I thought this was a 'share your movieverse comics thoughts' thread, so I was going to.

Admittedly the only one I've read was Reign of Starscream, but I dislike Movieverse comics. The art for the robots seems unintelligible to me, and its essentially stories about non movie characters that got toy repaints. RoS? uh huh. Arcee, Elita 1, the Walmart Deluxes from movie 1, Cliffjumper, Thundercracker, Payload, Stockade. It just makes me think "So what?"
I know I may be biased (obviously) and I may sound ignorant (unintended), but why do we always need more stories about Arcee? Man. Are the ROTF comics including Arcee, cause at least she had 7 seconds of screen time this time out?

I'm pretty sure the prequel comic series to the first movie was turned into a vid comic on youtube with a decent cast.

I was right. Type Transformers Beginnings into the search box. I think Defiance and Alliance are also showing though without voices.

1. Transformers Official Movie Prequel - takes place before the events of the first movie
2. Transformers: Reign of Starscream - takes place after the final fight of the first movie and after the events of the first movie
3. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel Alliance - takes place after the final fight in the first movie and after the end of the first movie
4. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel Defiance - takes place before the events of the Movie Prequel and before the war.
5. Transformes: Tales of the Fallen - details various events before Revenge of the Fallen

Isn't there an alternate universe comic too? I think they have it in the UK... Any idea when it'll come to America?
