IDW trades disappearing like hot cakes?

It seems like a lot of the IDW trades are fading into obscurity. Even the All Hail Megatron trades are unavailable through Amazon unless you buy one used. I have no problem purchasing used copies, but this is really driving the price up.
I just lucked out and found a copy of Maximum Dinobots for about $9, but why are all these titles so hard to find? I thought IDW's comics were doing well? Is the new ongoing more of a reboot than has been publicized?

I believe they have a limited print run. Best to let your retailers know you want a copy in advance or purchase as soon as they come out.

Could be that fellow transfans are snatching them up as soon as they can. Our local comic shop had the Maximum Dinobots TPB for about a week. I was going to pick it up on payday...only two days away, and someone snagged it.
Oh, well. Hopefully I can find it used at a decent price. Seem to recall someone selling the Genesis book on Amazon used for 999.99.
That's just ridiculous.

Call me cynical, but I believe it may be because they're being bought by people who, like me, feel IDW's current output is of questionable at best quality, and, remembering the Dreamwave Days, believe that IDW will loose the license by the end of the year, and are thus snapping the trades up as quickly as they can in order to sell them at a higher price on the secondary market.

Lol I remember idw's TPB of War Within selling out so bad that after just a couple months the only way you could get it was to spend 2K on it, more than the original DW version.....
