Did anyone else have trouble with FunPub's new envelopes? *Replaced*

As a first time member of the club I kinda didn't expect that much. It only came in a white envelope after all.
But the magazine was packed in such a way that the sticky part of the lip was touching the magazine. So when I went to open it, the envelope tore at it and left some bits of paper stuck to the cover.

It has also come to my attention that this was only the second time they've used envelopes instead wrapping it up in a newspaper. So I'm really curious if I just had first timers bad luck, or if it happened to anyone else.

04/02 I sent an email to Fun Pubs and received a reply today saying it would be recent! :D

04/10 As of this new edit I have received a new magazine!

Wow, I rarely have an experience like this go so smoothly. Props to FunPubs indeed.

My last issue arrived OK, if memory doesn't fail. Still haven't gotten this recent issue yet.

The envelopes are a new thing (like, "this is only the second time the magazines have been sent in them" new), so I honestly couldn't tell you if that sort of goof will end up happening frequently.

Well, I personally am not accustomed to this kinda junk. I've been subscribed to other magazines, which usually would either come in a plastic sleeve or nothing at all, and they almost always showed up in perfect condition.

I just don't know if I should try and get them to send me another one. I don't know if they would be as courteous or compliant as most others.

It couldn't hurt to ask... Pete, at least, is a nice guy on the forums, so even if they can't send another magazine I don't think they'll be rude about it.

There's a thread on the TFCC forums that says you can either call 1 800 772 6673 or email Angie at angie@mastercollector.com about magazine problems.

(For what it's worth, my issues previous to this also arrived fine, but they were "packaged" inside the old Master Collector newspaper back then.)

I've sent an email.
I tried to be polite and to the point as possible.
Just hope it doesn't get ignored.

I just got my new magazine, and I'm glad to say that with the slight alteration to the envelopes they made, this problem will not likely occur again! :D
