I am a bit surprised but I saw the TPB of the Movie Adaptation at Coles here in Burlington (Ontario Canada) I am surprised because I do not think the indvidual ones are out yet. No, this is not the prequel comics either... the trade was there for that too.

I did not buy it though.

I am gonna pick it up. I looked at IDW's site and it only shows escalaiton as available... both prequel and Movie adaptation are avail as well as escalation.

I picked it up, although I think I am willing to part with it. for some reason, I am not keen on trade paper backs.

Edit: This book has been traded :D

Thanks for the pics Sunstar, front paged and credited!

Nice find, you're really lucky - the art looks pretty good too. Now that I know there's a TPB on the way, I'll save money and pick that up when it comes out. TPB's always look so much classier than individual comics...

Wait there's a 'Coles' store and a 'Kohl's' store?

Like Fred Meyer and Meijer??

Is anyone original anymore?

so the prequel comics arent even out yet? so i guess its gonna be a while before those 4 issues are put into a trade paperback then?

but yeah, i'm pretty sure i've seen at least issue #1 of the prequel for sale on comic sites....though it coulda been pre-order since i never noticed the date of release

No, I don't believe we are.

Aren't books also not supposed to be out for another 1 hour, 27 minutes my time?

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok gotcha..lol

but speaking of a trade paperback of the preuels..amazon.ca has one listed for pre-order so...guess it wont be that long a wait...lol

it says 120 pages and its 16$ canadian so it must be it because i just recently bought the 1986 movie trade paperback and it said the same page count and was roughly the same price so there ya go...i answered my own question..lol

oh and both amazon.ca and .com show he megatron cover as the prequel trade...so that person who saw them and posted pics...they had both the prequel and movie...wow...i'm lost and confused but woohoo..lol

oh and they have both the prequel trade and movie trade listed as june 5th for release

I did not get the Prequel book as I did not have sufficent funds available to get it. But I felt the need to get the pics of the three trades.

Why do I find this so laughable? Could it be IDW's screw up of putting this entire book out a month before it should be anyway? Yeah, that must be it...

so yeah i went to my local Coles and i found both the prequel and movie trade paperbacks as well....as far as i could see they were the only copies left...that Coles doesnt have a comic section so i found em near the humor section

so yeah, i guess its the whole chain that released em early..whats funny is i went to a comic book store first and they only had the individual prequel issues and asked them...and they didnt even know when or even IF trade paperbacks were coming so yeah...funny stuff

i also ended up stopping at Toys R US and got me Optimash Prime and the Leader class Prime...as someone mentioned in the other thread, Megatron was nowhere in sight while every other character was there....so since most toylins always have 1 character thats hard to find, i guess he's gonna be the hard one in this case..lol

As I recall, my local comic book store guy told me this wasn't a screw-up, IDW did this on purpose. Supposedly the comics will have exclusive stuff the TPB will not.

My local Barnes and Nobel had both the prequel and the movie adaption TPBs today. Passed on them for now, but will probably pick them up later.
