Damn, I don't want to see any Witwickys anymore, they were OK in G1 cartoon, superb in Marvel comics (well, until Spike died in G2...) but IDW had their own human characters, why do they have to use Spike as a main character again?

Where's Furman when the fandom needs him?

Because they gave the reigns of the comic over to Mike Costa, whose homework for getting to understand the franchise consisted of sitting down in from of a TV with Shout's Matrix of Leadership set and watching all 98 episodes.

Are we supposed to find the Spike character interesting? Because every single panel he's in all I want to do is punch him in the face.

What a waste of pages, nobody cares about spike.

The transformers is a premium brand, its main comic needs a premium writer. Costa sadly ain't it.

I'm going to have to go out on a limb here for spike, he is as much part of the G1 verse as anyother transformer character...granted this is not the transformers that we grew up with and he as well as ol' Sparkplug aren't grease monkeys and I for once like the updated roles that these individuals have been given...yeah the focus on Spike could be a bit more lax...yes the new IDW human characters like hunter and crew were interesting...but I for once like Witwickies :-B

But before him there was McCarthy who had no idea they even existed and once he learned of their existence he killed one of them off and continued ignoring the other 2.

That guy in the preview was Spike? It didn't really look like him to me. Yeah, I'm not really interested in the ongoing, in fact, I don't think I'll ever be as long as Costa continues. At least I can enjoy the Marvel/UK stuff, now those are great comics. :x

I like where the comic is going. I also love the fact that the new tranformers classics line and generations are using the comic style. I would LOVE to see hasbro make little articulated mini figures out of the idw human characters. They can be in scale with the classics line. Anychance? Please?

The Classics line doesn't have a scale. :P

Killed one off in a most egregious and disgusting manner, might I add. :-x :-x :-x :-x :-x

Seriously, IDW did not need this damned reboot!

Bite your tounge  At least he had some sense of consistency and storytelling. His stories are some of my faves.
