Recently we have reported the upcoming release dates of Japanese version Transformers Animated DVD Volume 1 & 2 (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... dvd/18862/), Paramount Japan has just released the information for the 3rd part of the series.



DVD Volume 3:
- Consists of Episode 9 to Episode 12
- Japanese Language Dolby Sound
- Release Date: 8th October 2010

Just realized that this may be the only way for us to get Season 3 on DVD is to buy Japanese!

this is bs, whats taking season 3 so long

The Reason Season 3 hasnt been released yet is cause Hasbro/CN Paramount has lost the rights to the series.

Thus leaving it in legal limbo such as Transformers RID which has the same promblems now both shows are in legal limbo and no one owns either shows now.

So Dont look for RID or Animated S3 anytime soon if not ever I hate to be the bringer of negativity just looking at the facts.

I doubt that shout factory will get these. But there is always hope that The Hub could air RID and Animated once again.

thats scwerd up how can the creators of the show loose rights to it where was this series aird on cn who made it hapen hasbro its like telling todd macfarlane creaotr of spawn comics he can not make anything of spawn anymore because he lost rights to the character he created from image comics i think theres more to it.


when did we starting get seasons 1 & 2 when cn was still showing episodes of this series and when hasbro was still making toys form this series and hasbro where on there way making season 3 dvd for us but before they could when season 3 was over they infromation to canceal toy line
& animated series they decided not to bother with season 3 dvd now that toys & show are cancealed


you cannot release trilogy books that have 1 & 2 they need be part of set aurthor of he trilogy is not going to make books 1 & 2 and there fans hanging what happens next how does the story end when aurthor finshed the third book & decided not to release to the public there will be alot of angry/ dissapointed fans out there

My son and I can watch season 3 online, but its not the same. I was hopeful the Japanese releases would have an English audio option, so this is very frustrating. I'm not a fan of bootlegs, but if noboday has the rights to release this, I'd rather have some version than none at all. Still, this just plain sucks.
