random comments on G1 TV series

So not that long ago I decided to pop my 25th anniversary dvd into my comp to enjoy, and some things I noticed starting in ep 25: Megs is same size as the statue of Pres Lincoln sitting in his chair; and O.P. only stands up to Grimms shoulder. Question is do they actual toys reflect that Op vs Grim size diff?

Another thing, as I have yet to get a classics Bluestreak, but i have Prowl's re-release. Are the G1's repaints?

Lastly I love the bass riff that Jazz uses to take down the cons in ep 26. has anyone tried to tab it out? I plan on doing some hunting, but the more eyes in the hunt, the less chance of no-luck.

If I can find said tabs, I will as soon as my cash flow allows record and post my rendition for all to critique.

Dude, scale in Transformers is just slagged up. Don't worry bout it. Look it up on Tfwiki, you'll see what I mean.

I used to work in the animation biz, and I can say that mistakes with scale, or things like paint pops, disappearing mouths, (disappearing anything really), non-moving limbs, voice mistakes, naming mistakes, colour mistakes etc. are common when you're doing a weekly tv series. The Deadline is God, basically, and that means that it has to get done, and done fast and right on time, or there's trouble. As a result, things can and do get missed in the process because there is a lot to do, a lot to look at, a lot of communicating to do, and all while your in a hurry. Even if you manage to catch a mistake that you missed, if you're too close to your deadline, tough beans...it get's put out, because Deadline is God!

Indeed I have much empathy and enormous respect for the people who worked on any old series without the aid of computers and digital painting, editing and fx software. You can be guaranteed that these people did see the mistakes afterward, and just had no choice but to grin and bear it. Granted, on the positive side, it does toughen you up, since it's not an uncommon thing for artists of any medium to spend too much time fussing on a piece of work and not putting it out.

The G1 cartoon and the concept of scale are so not on speaking terms. :P
