Transformers, born on Earth and considering this planet to be their true
home, find themselves fighting to prevent the outlaw Decepticon Clench

apparently unlocked the secret of Transformer superpowers! Get ready for
all the mayhem as the Transformers from Generation 2: Redux go toe to
toe in an all out super-powered battle!

Since 1984 when Mirage could disappear, Hound had holograms, Brawn had super-strength, Decepticons could fly... nearly all of the original characters had some kind of super power.

Well, except Spike. And Sparkplug. And Chip. :KREMZEEK:

Yeah there was even that one episode where the Constructicons built a machine to give all the Decepticons' powers to Megatron so he could stomp Prime in a one on one challenge.

Wasnt that suppose to be their built in tech abilities. This comic much showing they gain the super power after they 'drink' the special energon or something.

Frostenite, a mineral introduced in the Japanese G2 comics. Back then it was little more than an "exotic energy" plot device. FP gave it mutagenic properties, changing the colors of a Transformer to neon (as those colors were "all the rage" according to Hasbro) and giving them special powers they normally wouldn't have.

I also gain super powers after I drink "special energon"...the power to see more than one of any person, the power to speak in a rare language no one can understand, the power to repeatedly hit the ground with my head and not feel it, and the amazing power to discharge my internal contents with great force! :KREMZEEK: :KREMZEEK: :KREMZEEK:

Premise check: We are talking about sentient robots from another planet that have battled for millenia. Let's not get stuck in a quagmire of debate about what "makes sense".

BTW: Want to talk about illogical and ridiculous? Two words : KISS PLAY
