The good thing is that for once they have to dodge fire instead of just standing still while the other side shoots over their heads.

I still say it's dumb marketing not to have a toy line.

Hmm... i actually expected the animation to be more detailed... this looks like something from a video game, IMO. Nonetheless, it looks decent enough. Though, i can`T see any toys coming...

Has CGI not improved since Beast Wars? In fact BW looked better than this. Well...........GI Joe looks good.

Visual style is lacking, but glad to see some actual fighting. Still, I miss Animated.

Feels like a throwback to Beast Wars. I like it. Plus based on just those few seconds, I take back my nay saying of Brian Tyler. The music sounds pretty cool and not the generic afterthought music you normally would get in a action cartoon for children.

As long as the show isn't just a bunch of "If we lose this battle against the Decepticons, the war is over" and then next week "No, if we lose THIS battle against the Decepticons, the war is really over!" and then the following week "Okay, THIS is the battle that we can't lose or else the war is really really over!!!". One 'Clone Wars' is bad enough.

I vaguely remember the producers saying the animation level would be on par with the Clone Wars series.

Not. Even. Close.

It lacks any of the depth, the lighting, or even the detail that the Clone Wars series has.

Granted it's only one clip, but this series hasn't impressed me visually at all.

Hopefully the writing makes up for it.

I LOVE IT!!!

It might be me who miss the Beast Wars sooo much, but I love those graphics! 300% better than Energon or Cybertron allready!

I do hope that this was unfinished and that the cgi will be much better for the actual show.....

I don't think it's a question of the CGI's quality. It looks much better if you watch it in full frame because the video seems to change to a higher definition. I think though that the environment could use more detail. Those characters in a more elaborate setting would look great. Not photo realistic, but sort of stylized. Clone Wars may look good but I can't put myself in the writers or directors positions and figure out who the hell they think is having fun watching what they're putting out. If Prime keeps in mind that it needs to be exciting and fun and not redundant with its storytelling, then I'm perfectly fine with the way it looks.

Hopefully the environments are more detailed overall then what we've seen. Nothing really stood out to me like I was hoping it would. I still hope this turns out to be a good show.

Looks pretty entertaining, and it'll probably be even better once some dialogue is put in. Arcee looked good in that video and even seemed to have a bit of pink on her. I wonder why they didn't just call her Chromia if she was going to be blue. And I see that Bumblebee's eyes are as freaky as ever.

Another thing, some of you guys are still posting that there won't be a toyline. I thought it had already been established in previous Seibertron articles that there will indeed be one.
Not only that, but USA Today wrote in this very article, "Of course, there will be accompanying toys."
They also acquired the video clip from Hasbro, who is also likely the responsible party for sending them the other info they have in that article, which includes the line about the toys.

I'm having an issue watching the clip (in both IE & Firefox), the page itself loads; but the video 'screen' is just blank... The video doesn't load... Anyone else having this issue, or is it just me?

They better hurry up and get there HD corresponding channel launched. My satellite provider is DISH Networks and they only have the Standard Definition channel of The Hub Channel. I have been watching The Hub Channel advertises that they have their channel in HD which i soon yet to see. So DISH And Direct TV better get on the ball to acquire all the lost channels not included in the everything packages. Go look at Midcontinents channel line up and u will c it to be true. I want to have the opportunity to watch the new Transformers Series in HD. They r missing all the rest of the MTV channels and many more. I want to have the equal opportunity to get all the channels that everybody else is getting.

Ya, the video screen doesn't work. Just click in the link under the first 2 paragraphs that says "VIDEO: Check out a preview of 'Transformers: Prime'" and you'll get there.
Edit: Never mind unless you're using the link from the news on the main page. The link from this thread go straight to the video to which I'm referring.

Edit2: Actually I just tried it again and it didn't work regardless, though it did the first time I watched it. Maybe refreshing the page a few times will work?

Edit3: I hope I'm allowed to post this here.

Here's a Youtube link of the video

^ News post with new clip.

Hopefully if Hasbro makes toys they'll do like they're doing with GI Joe and make them in traditional style.
