I just don't want to miss Transformers:Prime in HD. In our area We can only choose Dish or Direct TV as a provider so that means we r forced to live with limited channels. They r so missing many many channels and at the extreme price we pay that shouldn't be so. There r MTV channels that r missing too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_MTV_channels.

I just finished watching the series and I don't get what everyone's pissing and moaning about, but I dug it and am eagerly waiting more episodes.

I will continue into why I dug it, but beware there are spoilers as I continue

First and foremost despite being a kids show they kill a main )or expected to be main character... TWICE!!! Brutally, mercilessly, and the hot fudge on top of my sundae is it's the Rock that they kill! Yeah, that's what you get for making the Tooth Fairy and The Game Plan!

Second, the series takes cues from every version of Transformers before it. BBee, Optimus, and Arcee are minor restyles of the Bayformers, Ratchet = G1, Bulkhead = Animated. It appears that the only truely new designs go to the 'Cons

Third, if they can keep the voice acting that would be sweet. Besides classic G1 voice actors we got Star Trek alum Jeffrey Combs, the Chick from Night Court, The black Ghostbuster, and The Rock.

The story was pretty good, and despite having the kids (my main bitch), they kept the kids out of the way, and actually there is the one scene where they show where the kids could be killed just by hanging with the Autobots.

The characterizations were good too. Especially Starscream and Soundwave (really dig this version of Soundwave, it's kinda like a Predator all stealthy and plays back recorded voice instead of using his own).

I like that the 'Cons have drones and "zombies" so there is endless cannon fodder for action scenes without killing characters with personality so that things can get exciting.

What I didn't like was the cop out ending (or was it?), having kids save the day, and that Cliffjumper not BBee was killed.

Also I think that we can safely severe all ties between this and War for Cybertron as well. This was more closely related to the movies than WfC.

Not a fan of PRIME, only thing good to come out of it is Welkers new Megatron. The characters look like crap, the humans are cliche & annoying, the story already seems to be stereotypical, i think this is cullens worse performance yet, the cg is pretty weak, and i hate steve blums starscream, not only can he not decide on what voice to use for him but im just tired of hearing his voice everywhere i go. Oh yeah and Soundwave is crap and Arcee is blue, no i will not stop bitching about that. I do like the darker tone of the series but there are just to many bad things about it to redeem it in my eyes. What hasbro has to do is rewatch every tf show and make a list of what made each one good and what were the draw backs then get input from the fans. Its not hard to change things up but keep it the same and get an awesome series, look at beast wars that was as far of a departure from g1 as you could get and it was great, because it still kept what made transformers transformers.

Yeah, this was a bit of a surprise when I was expecting to see G1 last night. Oh well, at least it was still TF and not some other Hub special or something.
