Brains anyone? IDW Publishing has supplied us with a seven page preview of Transformers: Infestation #1 to wet your undead appetites. The issue is scheduled for release 02/02/11.

i have a feeling bayonet will be the new answer to the golden rule of transformers,...TO SELL TOYS?!!?? haha

but yea seriously, Bayonet will probably be a new Drift-type character that will be super kick-aqss and there will probably be a toy of him/her in the near future.

here is my 200 internet dollars on this bet. $$$$$$$$$$x200

Bayonet is probably another Scourge/sweep that now has a name that we can put to the face instead of just another generic sweep. Also HOLY SLAG GALVATRON! His face looks a tad strange no?

I'm cautiously excited for this since it stars Galvatron, Scourge and Cyclonus. Looks like it'll be fun if nothing else.

I do, however, have 2 questions regarding it:
What's with the 5 pages of splash? Will the entire issue be splashes?
Is anyone else getting a Galvatron-cum-Serpentor vibe from that last page?

I've just read issue 1, it is interesting, but the speed of the comic is maybe a bit too quick, and Infestation 1 is needed to understand the full(er) story. Still, it got me interestedin the Infestation ark, as well as the Zombies vs. Robots universe.

Also #1: I was wrong.
Also #2: MINDVVIPE was right, and Bayonets alt. mode looks cool!
