Animated Depth Charge Character Design Revealed

Derrickk Wyatt's Twitter gives us our first glimpse of the Animated incarnation of Depth Charge.
The curmudgeonly Depth Charge seems to be the commanding officer of
Animated Cheetor and head of Cybertron's equivalent to CSI, the Transtech Division of the CPDC.

I was hoping this would have been based off an existing figure, thus giving the slight possibility of a new remold. But still, Depth Charge is one of my favourite characters. So this is very awesome! Yay! When is Animated AllSpark Almanac 3 coming out? Just give me an Animated Beast Wars story book already!

He kinda has Ratchet's shoulders and Starscream's boosters. I don' know if this would ever be a figure though...

Doubtful any sort of figure will ever come of it. New original mold TFA figures are done, the best we can hope for now is repaint/remolds. Probably just DJW fleshing out his Animated universe, which is cool. I really miss Animated.

Interesting, and Animated was starting to get a bit above decent when it was cancelled. I for one wanted to see more.
Could have done without the whole human/robot/thing Sari business, though.

Looks ok. Would be better with more original colors and wings up over the shoulders.
