Having Transformers Prime withdrawals yet? Today starts our three week break between new episodes until "Speed Metal" airs on April 8th, 2011. Luckily TVGuide has given us some brief plot details for the upcoming episodes "Speed Metal" and "Predatory". It appears last episode's Knockout will be making a return in "Speed Metal" and a new character will be introduced in "Predatory".

Episode 11 Speed Metal 04/08/11
Jack tries to be impressive, with Bumblebee's help, but Knockout's arrivals sends things out of control.

Episode 12 Predatory 04/15/11
Arcee must protect Jack when a routine mission is complicated by Airachnid's arrival

You may recall that Hasbro attempted to trademark Airachnid, but was denied in May of last year.

Knockout's still in the next ep? Finally, a 1-episode character gets a repeat appearance! Again, just what did Wheeljack have to run off to do that was more important than fighting all the Decepticons on Earth?

And...Airachnid?!? No, I don't recall, but flying spiders? Are they makin' new Fuzors? Is it a titanic spider that turns into a cyberverse playse-I mean, mobile Decepticon command center?

Airachnid? Yes, I remember that name denial. I wonder if he'll be any kind of Pred reference. ;)

Also, Knock Out's back. I guess he is to stay as a recurring character. Which would make sense, considering how he was summoned by Starscream to help accelerate Megatron's recovery.

yea what the hell was wheeljack there for. i mean it was cool to see him but its like they totally changes him. i mean i always thought he was like a scientist not a sword fighter. dont get me wrong he was cool, he is in my top 3 favs of all time chars but it just seemed wierd to me. and to just make him leave. that was dumb. cuz theres so many other decepticons other than starscream and megatron to fight in the galaxy. even if he found some he destroyed the cons in that episode like nothin. hes wasting his time.

Told who so what? We know nothing about this Airachnid guy other than his name.

Airachnid sounds like some sort of terrible 90s Nike shoe.

Well… when they told us about the names of the new episodes I said that the episode “Predatory” must have a Pred in it!

But we don't know if he even is a Pred. There's evidence, but no confirmation.

Besides, this is a completely original name. No Predacon or Predacon-related thing has ever used the name "Airachnid".

Plus, had the title not been a Predacon reference, it could have been a Predator reference (as this canon like to make callbacks to even obscure references).

Everybody is right! You are a walking talking encyclopedia! Oh well sorry about the misconceptions Sabrblade. And the Predator reference didn’t think of that one.

And yet, I still can't avoid my typos.

Ah, no worries. If anything, it's probably a closer reference to the Predacons than the Predators, what with the Predacon insignia showing up with his name and all. You just may be on the mark even if there's no solid answer yet. ;)
