Looks like we will be getting more James Roberts as he will be doing some co-writing with Costas and also we see that TF comics will be bimonthly for a lil towards year end.

Some of the story titles are curious like "The Last Earth Story". If done well, I may come back to the ongoing. And it looks as if issue #22 and #23 (written by James Roberts) will be about Ops and Megs first meeting. One will be told from Megs perspective and the other from Optimus Prime's.

Seibertron member Prime Evil has led us to the IDW Publishing Forums where IDW Editor Andy Schmidt has posted the schedule for the second half of 2011. Transformers ongoing will be Bi-Weekly starting in July and going at least through December. The issues will be divided up into two story lines. They start off with "Prelude to Chaos" written by Mike Costa, art by Guido Guidi and Brendan Cahill. Then into "Chaos Theory" written by James Roberts, art by Alex Milne. Running side by side is "The Last Earth Story" written by Mike Costa, art by Brendan Cahill. Also in December is Transformers #125 by a mysterious writer and artist. What this issue includes is anyones guess. You can post your theories below.

Awesome!

Slight hit to the wallet but I don't mind. I'm excited for the Chaos event.

Hopefully this'll go hand-in-hand with an increased release rate of the trade paperbacks. "WHERE'S VOLUME 3??!!"

With so many teams working on Ongoing, I wonder if this is the end of the spotlight mini-series' for the foreseeable future.

Ugg. Another comic book event, well at least this event is in one series for a change. I would love to see Marvel and DC actually try that.

Even money says that #125 (and BTW where exactly how is IDW arriving at this number) will be written by God Awful Simon Furman because the damn crybabies hate Costa because he has the balls to take The Transformers comic in new and exciting directions and IF God-Awful Simon Furman returns to ongoing and stays beyond one issue, I'll drop the book like a bad habbit.
