At Anaheim Comic Con today, Bill Sienkiewicz signed my copy of Transformers #1.

I'm a huge fan of Bill's work on Daredevil, the Jimi Hendrix comic biography, and adaptation of Moby Dick. Even though the cover is not the most accurate depiction of the G1 characters it's just so expressive, which is a key part of Bill's work.

And for those comic connoisseurs, here's an Elektra sketch Bill drew for me last year. It's one of my prized possessions.

Dude, that's awesome! I'd love it if I could get him to sign my copy.

I'm not a big fan of his art in general, but I always loved that cover for TF#1. It looks almost like a great movie poster. I don't know if it ever was actually available as a poster of any kind, but it really should've been.

Is that an real TF #! or a reprint? That thing looks mint!

Has anybody ever noticed that they guy on the cover (left) looks like DeForest Kelly AKA "Bones" from Star Trek?

That Elektra sketch is awesome too!

Yep, it's an original. I was surprised to get a very good condition copy for around $15.
