Movie Adaptation Comic TPB Out????

Ok so I went to my local comic shop and planned to pick up issues 1 and 2...I missed issue 1...anyhow I picked up one and then out of the corner of my eye I see a TPB with Prime on the cover...There it was Movie Adaptation TPB.
Why would they release this before releasing issues 3 and 4.
and yes I picked it up, but no I have not look at it yet...not sure I can make it another 18 days...

Because some places only carry TPB's, so those places will want that more than the individual issues.

Because some places only carry TPB's, so those places will want that more than the individual issues.
Like bookstores, who want to have the materials together, before it comes out. The individual issues actually have the extra content!

Which isn't actually all that good at all, so why anyone would want the individual issues when they can get the TPB is beyond me.

My TPB is on the way . . . can't wait to read, but I'm still going to see the movie. Must see giant robots on a giant screen.

I picked it up the same day that issue one was released, i posted it elsewhere on seibertron, i had it read by 11 o'clock gmt on the day it was released-it felt good, i am pretty sure i am the first person on seibertron to know how the story ends.
I originally wasnt gonna read the movie comic until after the movie, but i am kinda glad i did, the comic doesnt give everything away-but it has made me seriously psyched to see the film. Plus teh comic will definatly be less fun to read postfilm.
