Alternate Art from Transformers Ongoing #20: Galvatron Destroyer or Saviour?

Those of you who have been reading IDW's Transformers ongoing series and Tranformers: Heart of Darkness know the current incarnation of Galvatron is considerably different from versions we've had in the past. In addition to being a completely different character from Megatron, this version tends to be less maniacal and more merciful. Artist Guido Guidi has updated his deviantART with an alternative page from Transformers ongoing #20 showing Galvatron acting a little more like his old self.
In this scene a injured Sweep crawls to Galvatron's feet. In the published version Galvatron uses his Heart of Darkness to restore him, but on the alternate page he takes a que from movie universe Optimus Prime and shoots him in the face. In the page comparison you can see the smoke rising from Galvatron's just-fired cannon and pieces of the dispatched Sweep in the background, where the published version has the smoke and pieces removed and the Heart of Darkness energy added.
See the mirrored pages below.
