I am excited about the Future >>>>
Posted: Wed Aug 03, 2011 11:45 amI am very excited about the future of Transformers with Season 1 of Prime fixing to be finished and the possibility of Dinobots & Exo-Suits being in Prime even the possibility of Unicron or Fallen in Prime is exciting.
+ We have the rest of the Takara Japanese sets heading here being God Master Force & Victory 2 of these I have never seen. Also I dont know if they will do the Beast Wars deal or not on the Takara sets I also forget if it was called Beast Wars 2 or Neo or if they are 2 seperate deals.
To bad we will never see Animated S3 or RID on DVD not unless Shout buys the rights from Disney. But the new Art with Omega Supreme on it is a strong indicaton that Animated could or might get the Full box treatment being all 3 seasons on dvd being about 6 disks or 4 if they cram them all on 1 disk like 6 or 7 episodes on disks.
Next year is going to be even more cool cause we get the sequel to War For Cybertron. The thing is how does it continue and what will it be about since the event of WFC 1 and Cybertron being un-liveable for Genearations that leaves it in Space, Other Colonized worlds, or Earth itself.
Also there is a strong possibility of a 2nd new Transformers live action trilogy with a new star and a new Director. Since Shea and Micheal Bay have both droped from the franchise.
Makes since also cause this trilogy was about Sam Witwhicky so the new Trilogy will be about a new star in a new direction. The new director will have big shoes to fill but will have an easier job about it cause Bay got the ball rolling good on the Live Action Universe. They are many candidates that can take over his job but I dont see this happening until 2013 or 2014 the earliest.
I cant wait for November DOTM on DVD but I saw DOTM in 3D but I am unsure rather I should get DOTM on Blue-Ray or Standard DVD to save money.
I also wish they would re-relase Armada on Ultimate Collection my Energon & Cybetron sets look naked without Armada beside of it.
I was 4 year old when Transformers began back in 1984 and I was 6 years old when the Animated movie released that was the coolest thing ever seing that in the drive in Theater.
I remeber everyone singing Stan Bushs the Touch and people crying when Optimus Died.
Hard to believe I have been with Transformers for 25 years.
The future looks awesome with a possibility of another series called "ONE" but "ONE" could also be trademarked for a toyline also so it is hard to say without more concrete evidence.
I cant wait to see Dreadwing in Episode 21 of 1, Bots 2 Bots and how he tries to bring back Starscream and how Starscream and Silas interact with each other.
Starscream is a free agent now being neiher Autobot or Decipticon so going MECH for assistance makes sense after the events of Partners.
I plan on staying with transformers another 25 years.
