The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. Nice! I always liked Hunter O'Nion, a pretty cool character, who was alas prematurely killed off. IDW... You allowed that story line to be royally screwed up.

Considering Headmasters and their partners: I always get a bit squeamish when thinking about what happens to these guys' limbs and backbone when they transform into heads (or guns, or engines, for that matter).

I can imagine Bombshells laugh being a lot like Tarantulas' laugh. If the Insecticons show up in TF:Prime then that'd be a perfect voice for Bombshell!

they kept him alive to get information from him. since they're decepticons, its unlikely they provided the mercy of some thing to make it easier. although its highly likely his brain kicked in to survival mode and created a dream to take him out of his nightmare life(brains are funny like that).


but then again it IS a comic book about giant alien robots so to hell with logic

Now that you mention it, they do sound uncannily alike! Never noticed that.

I'm torn. It's a chilling, well-done comic. But what happened to Hunter was one of the reasons I dropped the IDW line.
