I like Rescue Bots! In a weird way, it reignited my TF fandom. I've been a stagnant TF fan for quite a few years, but a little over a year ago, let my kid watch an episode and he was hooked. At first, I thought it was super lame as it was nothing like the usual stuff... But the more we watched, the more I came to enjoy it. We collected a bunch of the toys for him to play with (both the first line and the Energize), and have really gotten into it. It ignited my son's TF fandom in general--he's now working through G1 and really enjoying it, as he burned himself out on Rescue Bots. He's 4, so questionable on Prime, though I do watch it myself, when he isn't around (thanks, Netflix.) I'm not caught up at all on Prime, as I can't watch whenever I want, but it has been awesome to rewatch G1 with someone who is so excited about it! My daughter is not even 2 yet and kind of a junior TF fanatic herself, so that's pretty fun!

Needless to say, we are stoked for season 2 in this house!! Hoping it starts soon.

Chamber of Youth malfunction, maybe?

This episode could be either really good or really terrifying.

If it's a permanent change, then this seems kind of interesting. Otherwise, 8-|

Really. You, of all people, didn't pick up on the real point of this premise?

This episode is what his toy's been scaled to all along!

And if he dons the firefighter outfit of that other Cody figure, that would actually be kind of awesome.

Doesn't sound like they're working any new characters in off the bat, but maybe the blurbs just didn't have room.

Roger Craig Smith is supposed to be in one of the early ones, IIRC.

For a second, I thought that girl covering her head as the Bots try to keep something big from falling on top of her and the other people with her was Miko making a surprise guest starring appearance. But, it isn't her.

Once again Zap2it brings us details on upcoming episodes of Transformers: Rescue Bots! It looks as though two new episodes will air on March 30th, "A Virtual Disaster" and "Spellbound". Brief descriptions for each can be found below:

Transformers Rescue Bots : A Virtual Disaster

S02, E05 (First Aired: March 30, 2014)

The virtual becomes real; Heatwave realizes Blades' potential as a true hero.

Transformers Rescue Bots : Spellbound

S02, E06 (First Aired: March 30, 2014)

The Bots and Burnses are in mind-controlled stupors; Cody scrambles to snap them out of it before he's sucked in.

March 30th is quite an oddball airdate since that's a Sunday instead of a Saturday, and it skips both the 22nd and 29th. I'm hoping it's just a goof made by Zap2it and not final.

Thanks yet again to voice actor DC Douglas, we now know that the third season, confirmed by Hasbro at Toy Fair 2014 to feature the new dinosaur modes for the main cast, including Optimus Primal, is currently recording - and Levar Burton is part of it! Check out the Vine here. The season should air towards the end of 2014, still according to Hasbro.

 Holy scrap... I can't believe I didn't realize that he is the voice of Doc Greene. Thanks for pointing that out Sabrblade, I have no idea how I missed that before, but now I want to re-watch all of season 1
