We all know it's a MECH-designed clone made to give the 'Bots a bad name. People have been calling that since the episode with the DNGS (whose name eludes me at the moment).

I had no knowledge of this episode...now I is excited!

Evil repaints ARE having episodes built around them this season?

Then maybe Flamewar WILL actually show up! Prime has already developed some of the worst internal continuity problems of any TF cartoon, but tossing her in would totally redeem them in my eyes.

This show's epic level just increased.

Maybe this is how Hasbro plans to re-issue the FE mold... if they actually do.

At the Cybertron convention, they pulled out a 3 minute or so trailer of NP's arrival at the base. It looks utterly fantastic. This episode will be a whole lot of fun! Can't wait.

I hope mech has made some unexpected 'improvements' to their prime clone.

All he did was encrypt files cause Megatron deceived him into doing so, did Orion ever flip out and shoot up the place off screen or something?

Nope and he didn't even get any chance to attack the autobots while he was on the Cons side.

Not positive, but:

Prime appears to go crazy, yet at base he seems fine. In the end it turns out it's the bot Mech was trying to create.

This show keeps getting better! After the amount of awesome in last episode I'm super excited for this one.

Willing to bet that we see 'Screamer come skulking out of the treeline after the inevitable battle that scraps the impostor and he snatches his t-cog out of the twisted remains and high tails it out of there. Either that or he's instrumental in the impostors defeat by attempting to reclaim his part ala "The way to a 'Bots T-cog is through his exhaust port".

My vote is on the latter scenario but then, I have something of a ruthless streak in me.

Is it just me or did it sound like Optimus said, "I am Optimus Trime." I could swear that he said that.

He does, but there's also a noticeable distortion in the voice that 1) indicates it is a MECH clone (due to that shot of Silas in the clip), and 2) to add more menace to the voice.

I was fortunate enough to catch an FE Prime where I live, but I'm not sure whether or not I'd go for a Nemesis recolor. As it is, I would prefer to get FE Bumblebee and then consider Hot Shot for the RID mold.

But after Crossfire and Megatron going all gladiator, my love for this show is increasing with each episode.

Also, considering that this is likely a MECH-related episode, I'm glad they didn't use "Operation" in the title like they did with previous episodes where MECH directly attacks a Transformer (Operation Breakdown and Operation Bumblebee, respectively). Though Nemesis Prime and Convoy follow the Optimus theme...
