I love how Optimus Prime takes up half the cover despite appearing in only about 5 minutes of the show.

I would love to get my hands on the DVD, but I'm up-to-date with all the Rescue Bot toys; including Boulder!

Me too. Or at least, on all six transforming bots (don't need the electronic Heatwave and Chase, or the playsets, or the humans figures that come with equipment pieces).

But, MAN, do I want this series on DVD so BADLY! It's better than Prime, IMHO. 8)

So you don't want weapons for the Autobots?

I wouldn't say it's better then Prime, but it is one of Transformer's better series within the last decade or so.

Well, it because of two things.

1. They don't use these pieces of equipment (they're not really weapons, but more like rescue tools) in the show, and I'm all for show-accuracy. So, I can't yet fully justify buying eight tools that they don't use in the show.

2. Due to the way they hold them, they look kinda funny/awkward hanging off of their hands rather than looking like properly-held objects. Especially since their arms have no articulation, there's not much that they can do with these things while holding them.

Point number 2 is one of the reasons I really want actual main line toys of Heatwave, Chase, Boulder and Blades. If Hasbro were to make show-accurate, fully articulated, Deluxe class figures of those four based on their cartoon character models, I would so buy those in a heartbeat! :D

I get that this show is meant to be for youngsters, but it is so well made that it has captivated older audience members like myself. So, it would only benefit Hasbro if they were to make Deluxe versions of these guys. Especially considering how there are supposed to be more crossover scenarios between this show and Prime. If these four even make guest appearances in a future Prime episode, they'd probably get redesigned just a bit to better fit the Prime art style. And if they do, that alone would be enough to warrant Deluxe versions of these guys using those designs. 8)

I'm kind of mulling it over. That Optimus is cute, and it wouldn't be a bad excuse to grab him.
