DVD Sets forthcoming?

I was thinking how the production companies go out of their way to promote a movie. Then I realized, there hasn't been any news of forthcoming DVD sets since Sony's ad on the 20th Anniversary edition of the movie. I thought G1 was to be released again on DVD or at least series sets (at last) of Robots in Disguise (besides just the U.K.), Energon, or Cybertron.

I mean the Dukes of Hazzard sets hit almost bi monthly in 2005 when their movie hit the big screens as did Bruce Timm's animated Batman series when Batman Begins came out the same year. Or maybe I'm just thinking too far ahead. Thoughts?

I think it would a prudent choice for Sony to re-release the G1 series around the same time as the movie comes out. I'd imagine that public interest would be at an alltime high in Trasnformers, and if the general public gets their hands on the original G1 series, Transformers' popularity would only go up. That's just me,though. That's how I see things happening. This would also be a great time to see a North American release of Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory, etc. All those Japanese exclusive shows that never made it over here outside of fandubs and whatnot on the internet. Of course, anytime would be good for those things to see the light of day over here.

I'd like to see Cybertron on DVD, along with G1, and Energon. But mostly Cybertron. I just can't wait for Armada season 2 to come out, though.

Um, it is out. Took almost 2 years, but it finally got out. No word why the delay.
