After seeing the second bayformers movie, I've had this weird idea come up. Just bear with me.

In the second movie all of the original primes (including the Fallen) look relatively the same with the exception of a few minor cosmetic details.

Given this detail, shouldn't Optimus and Sentinel have looked relatively the same in the 3rd movie?(with a few minor differences in detail)

Now let's take this to the toy lines: Notice the similarity between Optimus and Nemisis Prime. I'm leaving out Ultra Magnus because commonly he's either wearing armor, or depicted as a complete different character (aside from the albino prime versions, ugh...)

Has anybody ever felt that Nemisis Prime and the Fallen should be written as the same character?

And also, shouldn't the Fallen, Optimus, and Sentinel Prime looked a little more similar in the movies?

Curse you Michael Bay for raising these questions in my mind!

The first primes looked the same because they were the first, plain and simple.

Optimus and Sentinel were later generation. They look different because of the changes made to them over time, not to mention they dont come from the same era.

Like I said, later generation

Optimus and Sentinel Prime share some details like their helmets.
