I seen alot of idots who dislike Anime TF on Youyube and many other forums. Some made fales claims and claims themself to be a hard core fan and yet they know nothing.
Some are very racist towards Japanese like saying that "retartd japs scraw up TF " and thay think that the Japanese stole TF shows from them.
The Dubs may not be like by many Hardcore fans. Then watch the sub instead.
There some anime Tf which are cool like Victory and Master Force and I count them as G1. But there is one TF ANIME I do not like which is not an ANIME standard show which is ARMADA .
The mean qustion is why many of you here dislike Anime TF.

I don't like them cos the kids are made to importent, to much stupid stuff like Tfs doing bodybilding and stuff like "Teach us your transformation art, ore we will kill these humans!"
I like them for keeping TF alive and showing us some realy cool designs!
I don't mind them, but I was expecting more of them, especialy wen they claim to be more mature then G1!
But that racist crap at youtube realy is anoing!
F*** racists!
Without the Japanise would there be Transformers are Godzilla? NO!

It's funny you should mention this, I just posted somthing earlier about this phenomena.
Question for me is, who can these redneck idiots look at any G1 episode and not notice the giant japanese robots and dough eyed human characters? Wake up transformers has always been anime I hate to burst your bubble but your "all-american prime" was always a "stupid jap creation".

The first for seasons was a co production between the u.s. and Japan.
But is known as a American cartoon cos the Japanees got it later then the us.
And most probebly animated in china ore wereever it was cheap back then.
But they were based upon Japanes Bots.

A lot of people are repelled by anime as a whole, and have their own reasons (be it a simple dislike of the style to out-right xenophobia).
I loved Armada, but passed on Energon and Cybertron because I was less then enthused by the 3D models.
Why?
Because I was and that's all you need.

Well alot of people hate anime, but can it just be that most of us are not fond of certain types of anime?? for instance most shows follow the same anime cliche's, but there are more serious and more interesting animation out there then what has been applied to Generation one so far..
For instance I'm a huge Gundam fan!! I wasn't into the whole sued-o psychological stuff they did in Gundam Wing, but I am more of a fan of what they did with Gundam 0083, Star Dust Memory..in my point of view, it was one of the best anime series of Gundam ever!!!
Generation one, if redone and retold from the beginning in a series like Gundam 0083 would be perfect.. in a 6 disc DVD set..

i actually really like the takara series! i dont class it as G1 cause they ommitted the entire 'Rebith' storyline! i've got no problems with anime, in fact just the opposite, as i cant decide which anime series i want to collect next from such a vast amount!

Just give the rights to GONZO and then we'll have a super show!

Uh, that happened with Cybertron/Galaxy Force:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers_Galaxy_ForceI still feel it's the best of the three.
Oh, and as for the question at hand, I like the Anime' approach. However, I really dislike them changing everything in the dub, and I heard Hasbro got unfinished animation for Armada/Energon, and that's a reason it looked kinda bad. Also, I dislike them taking out the anime' expressions(sweat drops, etc.), and replacing the japanese music.

I have no problem with TF anime, I just could not get into a lot of the post G1 stuff. I found Victory and Zone to be a bit confusing. BW 2 was good, though.
Anyone who dislikes the "Japanese only" TF shows should check out Headmasters. IMO, it shows what a G1 based series should have been like.

The Japanese Transformers shows were incredibly stupid.
The rank and file Transformers were just incredibly stupid. I watched 10 minutes of a Cybertron episode and I saw the Autobots get nervous and almost shoot a whale and have no understanding of knowing how to operate underwater. Then they had humans showing them different swimming strokes.
Then there was a just assinine scene with Overhaul on the Jungle Planet where if he had a Texas accent would sound like George W Bush talking about the reasons for fighting with some robot from the Jungle Planet. Overhaul sounded like a complete lummox.
Then there are such things in the other series like snoring Autobots with anime snot bubbles.
Everything that had to do with minicons.
The cliche "been-seeing-since-Voltron-was-on-TV" stock animations where a Transformer yells "Transform!" with a slow transformation with a blinding color display behind him with a blaring techno-pop soundtrack.
The problems with G-1 were due to people making not giving a crap really and basically bungled their way into something that struck a chord with people that has lasted 20 years.

I really don't think that we can make that assumption about galaxy force, a japanese show that is dubbed in english. In that case, it's the americans that always screw **** up in the translation.
Watching dragonball z for an example, in japanese has shown me just how amazingly different, better, and less annoying and cheesy a japanese show can be if watched in it's original language. It's almost a completely different show.

Do you know that not everithing can be dubed the way it is in Japan?
I mean, you can't just translate it word for word, but you have to translate it so it makes sense in the languge you're dubing it in + it has to look like the carecters say it, mening only speek wile the lips move.

You guys do know that Japanese animation studios have been working on the majority of the shows since G1, right?

That's what I've been screaming. Most animation since BEFORE G1 has been anime.

Yes, I realize this, but I am not speaking entirely from the aspect of linguistics. I just think that the japanese have an overall higher respect for the art form of animation, whereas americans see it as kiddy fodder and treat it as such. These seperate attitudes defineatley come across in the tones of each respective cultures voice acting, musical scores, and overall feel for animation.

Wrong.
Toei(Japanese) did the bulk of the animation for G1, and Beast Wars was produced in
CANADA, by Mainframe.

Yup, Toei animation did dragonball z. You don't get any more anime than this. G1 definatly has a japanese style, subtle though it may be, it's still quite clearly anime.
Even though the production company may have been american, it was still animated by Toei, and the movie and many of the episodes were directed by a japanese guy.
I just think it's hilarious when fanboys that hate anime fail to realize that they have been raised on it, especially if they are a child of the eighties. Transformers, G.I. joe, Thundercats, Voltron...All anime.

Yep. American production companies have been outsourcing Japanese animation studio's talent for over 20 years,
especially with cartoon series. The '80's cartoons are a prime example of this. Thundercats, G.I. Joe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Hell, even
My Little Pony, Toei did animation work for.
