The following was said at the Hasbro/IDW panel at C.C.I in San Diego:

"There was even more Dinobot news with a "Transformers Prime: Rage of the Dinobots" comic, which functions as a lead-in for "Transformers Prime" season three. The story revolves around the Dinobots as they make their last stand against the Decepticons on a dying Cybertron. Writer Marghread Scott described the book as an "ode to Detroit," her beloved hometown. She described Cybertron as a planet in ruins, but the citizens continue to fight for it because they love it."

Do you think this pretty much guarantees Dinobots in season 3? I know it has long been rumoured but has it been confirmed they're coming to TF:Prime?

No, they haven't been confirmed. It's been rumored because Gregg Berger is supposed to be a VA in Prime, as well as this comic being the bridge of seasons 2 & 3, but I do not believe Hasbro or Kline ever came up straight forward saying: "The Dinobots are coming to Prime. Happy?"

The reason they haven't confirmed this is rumored that they want us to read the comic in order to find out for certain.
