Favorite Comic Book Covers

And now, for something different. For those of whom, who are into the comic books, what's your favorites? I have alot, personally, but I'll only drop a few, for the time being, just to get the topic going. Feel free to state why a specific cover is one of your faves, and/or post an image.
Starting it off, I'll begin with a more recent cover. This is from the Transformers Movie Prequel mini-series, issue #4. This cover just really grabbed me. Great art (doesn't seemed rushed, like a few of the other Movie related covers). I mean, it really gives me the impression that these two factions are really about to go at it. All of the Transformers from the film are present, and accounted for, and it's just a really well planned out piece.

Now, the next cover I chose as one of my faves, is the 1st issue to the UK Marvel run of Generation 2. Given the tagline, "This is not your father's Autobot." may seem corny at first, but the image really helped pull it off. Bullets in Prime's head. Prime's eyes, glaring at you, all while holding a smoking gun. Clever stuff.

Last, but not least, is possibly my favorite Dreamwave published (the few of them there are) comic cover. This whole series was pretty awesome artwise, but this cover was just one of my favorites. Done by artist Jae Lee, the cover depicts Megatron, whom appears to be severely damaged, towering over a solider (Snake Eyes perhaps?). I love this art style. The placement of the shadows and shading, really set it off.

So, who's next?
