Idea for TF Animated Decepticons

At work today I was thinking about both the movie and the new cartoon, and an idea hit me: Following in movie Barricade's footsteps, and since all the `Bots in TF Animated are emergency vehicles, would it be cool if the `Cons were emergency vehicles too? We've seen a glimps of the trouble Barricade is going to cause in the movie as a police car, so imagine all the crap that the `Cons could pull and get away with if they were disguised as police cars and helicopters, SWAT trucks, etc. I think it would be hilarious.
Anyway, so what do ya'll think?

Heres an idea for the decepticons in the new series.
They should all be merciless killers. Megatron should go back to his original G1 roots and he and Prime need to have a one on one fight to the death at some point.
Starscream needs to be a treacherous, backstabbing 2 faced decepticon as we all remember back in the good old days ^^
as for the other cons, please. We want them as evil, cold emotionless warriors. Not as bumbling idiots

How about cold, merciless killers with a really really sick sense of humor and a love of causing chaos in any form imaginable?

Y'know, there'd be a nice degree of irony in that. If humans know about Autobots and their
modus operandi of trying to help all sentient life forms, then it would be a smart move on the Decepticons' part to play on that trust deliberately--even posing as Autobots whenever possible for their own ends. Hell, it'd mark the 'Cons with a degree of cleverness and intelligence that is usually absent from their cartoon portrayals...and they'd probably be a bit more fun to watch, too.
To elaborate: you could have the possibility of a Decepticon amongst the Autobot ranks as a "Counterpunch" double-agent, waiting for just the right moment to strike; a young Decepticon, perhaps not fully convinced of the cause, being forced into examining new perspectives via playing the "emergency vehicle / Autobot poseur" role; a "noble warrior" 'Con whose strict warrior code demands battle against Autobots only, and who would not work to extend the conflict into indigenous species (going so far as to even defy some basic 'Con logic and fulfill some emergency duties); and who knows.
Hey, it'd be better than seeing stock "I will destroy you bwah hah hah hah!" or comic-relief type villains for the umpteenth time...

I agree that Megatron should be the old megs and Starscream should be the same as the old one not a hero to little kids or a friend to Jetfire who believes Optimus Prime is a leader of Intergity. FLopimus prime ...Starscream should take advantage of foolish autobots who would believe Starscream is an autobot friend who tells them he follows only MEGAimus Prime.

Why do ya'll seem to think that `Cons as emergency vehicles could NOT be merciless killers? What about the REAL LIFE human psychos that pretend to be cops, pull women over at night, and rape and kill them? Granted, that's sick, and I wouldn't want Transformers to be THAT intense, but `Cons as emergency vehicles could be scary with the amount of BAD stuff they could do and ACTUALLY GET AWAY WITH.
Come on, use SOME imagination, don't just flame.
But anyway, now we have real text descriptions of what the `Cons look like. Megatron looks evil and I'm sure the `Cons will be back up to their old tricks.

all I say is DON'T make Megatron a gun! to me, that was one of the worst ideas in G1. gun's kill humans and animals, NOT giant transforming robots. and need I mention the original "trigger-crotch" Megatron toy? the size changing was stupid too, and unfair.

I like the idea of the Decepticons going on rampages and stuff like that.

it has always been:
decepticons= destruction, corruption, power, strongest survive, kill all who oppose us
autobots= truth, justice, fair game, life, preservation and all that hero stuff
if they kept it like that i would have a good time, oh and if they got rid of the piccaso style animation they got going

By "unfair" I think he means something like, "Megatron and Soundwave mass-shifted from small items into BIG robots, while all the mini-bots actually mass-shifted from normal, human-sized vehicles to SHORT robots."
I myself always thought that sucked. I mean, just because the mini-bot TOYS were small, why the hell did they have to be small as robots in both the cartoons and the comics? I always thought that was dumb. I mean, the cartoon and comic versions of the toys don't have the same faces as the toys, so they are already not toy accurate, so why should they be short? For the cartoons and comics, they should have had the mini-bots transform from normal-sized vehicles into whatever size robot would be appropriate WITHOUT mass-shifting. Like Huffer. Huffer transforms into a freaking semi for goodness sakes. He might be a smaller type of truck than Prime, but he SHOULD still be pretty big in both truck and bot modes.
Then, after a year of having mini-bot toys represented as normal-sized vehicles and robots in the cartoon, kids would have been PSYCHED to buy new versions of the mini-bots that were in the same scale as the rest of the Autobots. And the first year mini-bot figures would have been relegated to collector's items, but the mini-bots themselves wouldn't have been stuck as SHORT for the next 20+ years.
Ah well, just another case of "what could have been."
