Great 'Barn Find'

Hi all, I was in a small town in Somerset on the weekend, decided to go into a junk shop and stumbled on a big bunch of UK Transformers issues, I snagged myself 40 I didn't already have including issue 300 and issue 332! It's funny because I've been going to that town all my life and there must have been a fellow fan living there.

Anyone else have stories like that, where you made a lucky find you didn't expect to?

Yep, wandered into Oxfam Books in Leeds, UK, and found a first print of Transformers Generation 2 issue 1 in excellent conditions! For 2 pounds, I had to get it.

I can't say I've had any others, but back in Italy, my mum takes my brother to several charity shops, when she'd looking for stuff, and he usually finds some really good complete figures for almost nothing. Last one I remember him showing me was RID Optimus Prime with trailer and everything!

Nice :D I'm still looking for my barn. Just out of curiosity, I've only ever read the comics sparingly, what's the significance of #300 & #332?

Issue 332 was the last ever issue, and 300 was the last 'milestone' issue with a wraparound cover, I already had 100, 150, 200 and 250 so wanted it for a while. I guess I'm just a sucker for wraparound covers! Also the print run had shrunk considerably by the 300s. I still want 289 as it is the last issue with new original UK scripts in it. From 290 onwards, it was either the main US stories or UK reprints.
