I just went back and watch the 3rd episode because I was bored and noticed The cons got the Star Saber from the wreckage of the autobot base.

So I guess that answers the question about the Star Sabers fate rather I be the first or last person to see it lol.

Saw that written on the TFWiki for "Prey".

Hope Smoke decides to sneak back in to steal it back for the Autobots.
