Alex Milne, long time artist who works along James Roberts on the current More Than Meets the Eyes comic series has posted some concept art of all of the Decepticon Justice Division on his Tumblr page. Certain characters like Tarn have been seen before, but his post also elaborates on how he came up with each character as well as showing some never before seen alt modes for each character.

So Vos turns into a sniper rifle eh? I wonder, is he Agent 113, certainly would help with his way of communicating with the Autobots.
But if he is, and it's been revealed in MTMTE already, don't spoil it please, I only read the trades.

Thats some sweet concept art for some evil Cons. Tarn's legs remind me of Trailbreakers. I hope we get figures of the DJD. I love their alt. modes and the concept of them being tools for torture.

These are pretty sweet designs. :) I like how their alt modes turned out too. I'd like to see them as toys somehow.

Transformers fan-favourite artist Alex Milne, whose designs feature in the entirety of the MTMTE run of comics, uploaded to his Tumblr last week some unseen concepts for the members of the Decepticon Justice Division. While we had seen the robot modes before, we now get a chance to look at all of the alt-modes, as well as a commentary by Milne himself on the creation process. Take a look at the images below!

so here we have the DJD. they are probably my favourite characters I’ve had the chance to create. i know you’ve seen the robot modes before, but now you’ll get to see their alt modes. well, the one that didn’t make it into the comic :)

for people that wonder what Helex is, he’s a decepticon harvester unit from the old marvel comics. i just updated the alt mode look. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/File:TheSmeltingPoolUS17.jpg here you can see what i was going off of. instead of throwing bots into a smelting pool, he now has one built in ;)

i think Kaon was the hardest to design since he had to be an electric chair. it took several goes until i landed on something i was happy with.

i know with Vos that James wanted him to be a sniper rifle. i came up with a different rifle first, then i remember a conversation i had with James, and i asked him wouldn’t it be cool if the sniper rifle was the one from the flashback in MTMTE issue 3. well me and my big mouth. he liked that idea, now i had to make that work somehow :p

Tarn was the easiest to design, and then Tesarus.

all of them had the alt mode designed first along with their heads, then I worked out the design for the bodies. fun stuff, but very time consuming

I agree that these look like they would make some pretty sweet figures, but I can't see it ever happening. I just can't see Hasbro sitting down and saying, "You know what parents want to buy their kids? Action figures that turn into elaborate instruments of torture."

They could probably make a pretty convincing Tarn remold out of the Legends Megatron that we just got, but I think that would be about as good as we can realistically hope for.

Plus, the sort of guy who displays a toy electric chair in his bedroom is probably the sort of guy that no woman would ever speak to again, and I know I don't want to be that guy.
