In comic art news, Livio Ramondelli has been posting images to his Facebook page of cover sketches he has prepared as part of an IDW Limited release. The issues are relatively recent Spotlight: Thundercracker and Orion Pax, and have been mirrored below for those of you without Facebook access!

Y'know, I gotta say... his lineart is surprisingly clean compared to what the final product usually ends up looking like. It's got a certain gritty retro-ish feel to it when it's rendered in black and white like this. Really makes his art pop more.

I agree, the art here looks great IMO much better than the final product.
