Devcon's head looks much better than the mock-up suggested. Shame I can't afford it.

I didn't get mine, yet. Nor Rampage (FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU), for that matter. :-(

Me neither, but my magazine issues tend to come later than most others', typically in the second month of each's release.

Rampage should probably come pretty soon, though.

Just in from our friends at BotCon, Morgan Lofting has been added as a special guest for this year's event in Pasadena, CA! See details below:

Image

MORGAN LOFTING worked throughout the 70's and 80's performing various media voice-overs including cartoons, narrations, and commercials. On-camera there were a few good old TV series and Movies of the Week -- plus plays in New York and L A. and several regrettable movies, but let's not go there.

In 1989 Morgan returned to college to finish her Bachelor's Degree, stayed for an MA in history and was on her way to a doctorate when she took another swerve... so much to learn, so little time.

Now Morgan has found a new love, "bartending with books" as she calls it at her city library -- a job that leaves her plenty of time to travel, do yoga and read, read and read. However, after her first ever convention appearance at GIJoeCon 2011 and a subsequent appearance at BotCon 2011, Morgan was tapped by Derrick J. Wyatt to voice the villain Fistina, a character created especially for her, on the series Ben 10: Omniverse.

For many, Morgan will always be the voice of the Baroness from the G. I. Joe: A Real American Hero animated series, as well as Firestar and Moonracer on the classic Transformers animated series. Even her son and grandkids are fans!

"Special" guest or "Returning" guest?

I'm not up on my BotCon history, but wasn't she there recently?

BotCon 2011.

Yep. Met her. She smiled and signed stuff. Like everyone else.

Also, do we have any idea of what the other figures are for this year, besides the set? Is Armada Tidal Wave the 3 piece troop builder, or is that just conjecture, considering that's the mold they used for the Pirate ship? What about the attendee exclusive and the custom class figure?

I wonder if Devcon will ever get a MP release. I think many G1 Fans would want one, I know I would!

Nothing has been said or indicated, as is typical for each year (outside of leaked stolen prototypes).

Love that shade of green. Would still like to see a "straight on" shot of it though.

I'm not a die hard collector so an old mold of big bright and ugly doesn't excite me. :P

Then you'll be surprised to know the neck piece is all new, and the Headmaster itself is retooled from Encore Cerebros/Spike from Fortress Maximus, representing Olin Zarak, Lord Zarak's son ;)

Yep, confirmed on Twitter that it includes the chest guns. Hopefully they stay on this one better than 2010 Doublepunch.
