The limb-bots look awesome. Bludgeon, however, looks kinda meh. For one thing, Bludgeon really needs to be a tank, or at least some kind of tracked vehicle. For another, Thunderwing's head is plainly just pokin' out the top of the vehicle mode. I know it's like that on Bruticus too but at least that sort of blended in a bit. Also, why on Cybertron is the combiner head Thunderwing? Wouldn't Bludgeon's Pretender head make more sense? The Swords from GO! Prime are neat though.

That said, I reckon you could make an almost convincing tank out of this with Shapeways magic- make some gubbins to make the turret into a proper tank cannon assembly (or really anything other than the mess up there at the moment) and remove the clip-on wheels and replace them with track units. It wouldn't be the best tank there's ever been but it would be better than Onslaught painted green.

And at any other angle, bumper-punch syndrome :-P

So basically, it's bludgeon doing a superman pose for vehicle mode with thunderwing's head stuffed in bludgeon's backpack

VHS aside, these look nice.

I'm worried about how the targetmasters interact with the AB mold.

Why? Brawl's mold is riddled with issue's (I haven't seen a good review of him yet, nor any compliments 'round here) I'd rather have this really cool bludgeon, than a crappy one made out of brawl (who just so happens to also have inappropriate proportions for bludgeon too)

Well, they're more for 'bot mode, but I'd imagine that you could attach them to vortex's hands, or attach one to the underside of vortex, etc. They will not attach to where the chain-gun currently is however, but you could just put them somewhere else

He didn't say Bludgeon specifically needs to be the Brawl mold, he just said "a tank". That doesn't necessarily mean that he wants Bludgeon from the Brawl mold, and sure the Brawl mold is the only CW tank mold, but there's another question that we should be asking: Why include Bludgeon in this at all? He never worked with these other guys. The Mayhem Attack Squad had a very revolving door-type roster with members coming and going with each iteration. Bludgeon was never in the same group as these other four when he was part of the group, and when the other four were part of the group they worked with someone else. Someone who I wish we had gotten instead of Bludgeon: Thunderwing. I would have vastly preferred a Thunderwing retooled from the CW Cyclonus mold with the Cyclonus head retooled into Thunderwing's inner robot mode head and the Galvatronus head retooled into Thunderwing's outer Pretender shell head, which Thunder Mayhem is gonna have.

Not to mention having five limbs and no torso would result in a pretty crappy combiner.

Anyways, just wanted to say that TFSS Bludgeon sure seems to give good head.

Ok I'm done for the evening, but I'll be here all week!

I've got Brawl in hand already and I don't understand the fuss. Maybe I won QC roulette, but his torso audibly snaps into place. Sure, it looks off, but it holds together fine. It's way better the the 2-pts of articulation original. Bot mode has ankle tilts, great head sculpt, alt mode has double-barrel cannon, looks superb, leg mode is spot on. The weaknesses are short arms, tiny waist, and the turret doesn't rotate. The hollowness on the legs is hidden by the dark colors. I honestly don't mind because I understand that adding an extra panel on each leg to cover up the transformation would be an easy point of breakage and add more pieces to figure.

Fit for Bludgeon is a completely different story because I'd prefer a larger bur leaner bot and, you know, swords.

I agree with Kurthy regarding Brawl. I said as much in my video review of him as well as when I posted the gallery. He's nowhere near as bad as people are making him out to be.
