Fair enough, however my counterpoint is; an all female squadron of seekers would be badass.

Yeah, that would be sweet. Wish we had a decent G1 Slipstream, but I'll have to enjoy my Prime line one.

Just a quick addition, Dirge isn't a word relating to aircraft like the other coneheads are. Apparently Dirge is an actual word that is a type of sombre song. Despite this, Dirge's name seems to be a really clever pun. Dirigibility is a very obscure word that has a similar meaning to maneuverability, that is the ability to be steered or directed. An example of a word derived from this is a "dirigible", which was the word for airships like the Hindenburg. I've never heard a satisfying explanation for Dirge's name not being like the other coneheads, but I've come to the conclusion that it was just a really obscure pun.

Also nacelle is probably a French word, and if it is it probably has female conjugation. However we don't have that in English so people assuming it's a female name took me by surprise.

Just in case no one's posted it yet, Nacelle is already up for preorder on BBTS along with the rest of next year's subscription figures. Sorry if that spoils these 'reveals' but we did see them all at Botcon anyway, did we not?

I think Serpent.O.R. has been 'preorder-sold out' two or three times already!

Forgot to answer this. If the "Rainmakers" from 2013 are any indication, they're still good to go. Mind you, it's possible the mold has been repaired several times over like Classics Prime.

i heard some baaad things about the rainmakers, especially the joints that attach the wings to the body.

The trouble with the Hasbro mold of Thrust, the wing mount are so wonky that they tend to break off. The Japan mold is more tightly mounted.

Hope this mold doesn't have the same issues.

Surprise! Nacelle uses the BotCon 2007 Thrust wings, not the Gentei/Generations one. You can tell by the two prominent circles on each side:

Left: Generations, Right: BotCon 2007

I had no issues with the Botcon Rainmakers. That mold is unbreakable. I wouldn't even be surprised if there are a two of them. If CHMS could create the same mold through reverse molding, how hard can it be ? I had no issues with the CHMS Rainmakers quality wise either.

According to Jesse Wittenrich, there are hints in Nacelle's bio that imply him to be the barely visible fourth member of the "Welcoming Committee" from episode 1 of the G1 cartoon.

His name also fits with this group since he, Bitstream, and Hotlink are all named after Seekers from the Exodus novel.

Making an homage to a background character that's barely visible. (more so than the normal barely visible background characters that club does that is)

It's not a homage to that guy. It's a homage to this prototype for Thrust:

The connection to the fourth Seeker comes from his name and identity only.

doesnt mean the club isnt trying to make a backstory and say nacelle is the blue welcoming comity seeker.

i thought the club admitted that they goofed when naming them the rainmakers when they should have called them the welcoming comity? now theyre giving names to the actual welcoming comity? thats confusing.

if i could comment on the QC of the classics seeker mold, i own like 90% of them. all of them were solid aside from my henkei thundercracker and skywarp. those two were a loose nightmare.

I don't see what the problem is with their making the fourth WC Seeker. Don't people like it when complete groups get made?

Who says it's a Seeker? For all we know, it could be Soundwave or some other blue Decepticon.

You can just make out the shape of a dark gray intake on its right shoulder.

making it's not the bad part, it's just the whole, "there was a forth one?" part, throws you for a loop provided you don't look through G1 frame by frame.

I still don't see what's wrong with them completing the team.

... I kinda hope we eventually get the prototypes of dirge and ramjet as TFCC OCs too. I like how they're all basically mashups of the three main seekers with the parts of the three coneheads. (and the dirge prototype just looks sweet)
