I've been loving them. Only one I wasn't able to finish reading through was Fractyl's story - and tbh I'm not sure why - but the others I've all found amazing in terms of storytelling merit, enjoyable characters, and just pure utter fanwank.

I've been enjoying them too. The story with Counterpunch as well as the first appearance of Wreckage were 2 good ones to me

Nice to see folks actually talking about and enjoying the prose stories, as those don't seem to get a whole lot of love around here, it seems.

Now that all of the ones from years' past are available for anyone to access from the Club's website (minus two that are still missing from the site), anybody here read any of the older ones? Cybertron? TransTech? Wreckers? Classics? Shattered Glass? Wings Universe? Or even the recent Beast Wars: Uprising ones?

I thought that there was separate section with all the shattered glass stories, like the reunification story. Or is that a whole other thing?

Reunification's a magazine comic storyline, not a prose story.

I really enjoyed Counterpunch's story. It had the right amount of mystery for a Transformers spy story to have. And I'm partial to stories in the first person, so I found it funnier than the others. I also seem to enjoy things about characters that don't get much of the spotlight, especially mysterious ones like Punch/Counterpunch.

The BW Uprising stories are also very interesting, probably because it's very different. I don't think there's been any TF series quite like them. I appreciate all the references and back stories they've created (also, Lio Convoy :-D ). If y'all haven't read them, I think you oughta. There's no clear "bad guy" a lot of the time. The Builders are the obvious antagonists, but they also have Maximals fighting Maximals that have no other choice than to help the Builders. It's really interesting.

Sorry to hear that. Why in particular you think they're bad?

He forgot to put the synopsis-

After years of striving, Megatron has consolidated his hold on Cybertron's underworld. But even this magnificent accomplishment feels paltry when weighed against the mighty deeds of his long-gone namesake. Determined to make his mark on the world, he takes advantage of the chaos of the Grand Uprising to take the first, bold steps towards the next level of the evolution of the Maximals and Predacons alike.

Not gonna lie, I'm deeply disappointed by the choice to title these prose stories after SJW terminology. I understand they're puns, but really? Trigger Warning? Microaggression? Not All Megatrons? It's just inflammatory and pointless.

Inflammatory? Really? That sounds to me more like you're just looking to be offended whenever something that looks at all like "SJW" comes up, no matter how appropriate to the overall theme of BW: Uprising.

Seriously, this should be a non-issue.

What can I say. I don't want political bullshit in my Transformers. I'd feel the same way if it was /pol/ memes being used as titles. It's stupid and I don't like it.

I would encourage you to read the stories. So you can judge how the titles apply to the plots for yourself.

Heck yeah. It's very different from the normal TF stories we've (or I've seen).

Also, in the latest story, in the scene changes, there's dividers covered with Cybertronix (Cybertronian alphabet). Decoded, there's a bonus story. It's not extremely important to the plot, but it does flesh out some details and gives some backstory. For those that don't read Cybertronix, here's a translation- http://jalaguy.tumblr.com/post/15335240 ... ith-infamy

To vote for the Gobots, take to Twitter and use the hasbtag(s) for the robot(s) you'd like to see go on the mission. The top five hashtags are the members of the mission - any Gobots that this story hints at as members can be... replaced.

And the polling closes the 30th, not the 31st. Since, well, there is no 31st. That was a typo that I copied over without noticing at first, but then kept because I was still feeling silly after all of those blueprints.

With any luck, saying "the 31st" should at least help avoid questions of the "do you mean it ends at 11:59 pm on the 30th, or 11:59 pm on the 31st?" variety.

Part 3 of the Beast Wars Uprising prose finale is now online!

http://transformersclub.com/TCCprose.cfm

The penultimate chapter in the Beast Wars: Uprising universe is now online!

Cheetor and Preditron have been doing their bit for the Resistance ever since they were sprung from Fortress Maximus prison. Much to their chagrin, The First Resistor and the patriarch of the Predacon race are more valuable as propaganda tools than on the field of battle. But this time, a routine assignment deep in the heart of Resistance territory, far from the front, turns into something much more ominous. Soon these two unlikely allies find themselves at odds with Lio Convoy’s increasingly dubious agenda. It's a tale of lies, corruption, betrayal, pit fighting, and secret weapons.
