7 PM club! woot! woot! I've had a change in plans and am now going down Thursday night as soon as I get out of class. I've not payed to much attention to the price of all the souvenirs together before but is it normal for the sum of their prices to be $295? I thought it would be more than that.

This year they're selling the souvenirs as individual figures, instead of as multi-packs, to keep the costs down (save for the troop builder, which is a 3-pack of a CW Legends mold).

Will there be any sort of area for Seibertronians to meet up and hang out for the con? The bar sounds good to me. I'll answer to an Old Fashioned or a scotch on the rocks. :-D

Well, so much for CW Bluestreak. But I have a question for you guys (might ask the podcast this), are these figures considered official by fans? I know they are licensed, but do fans see them as official as other toys distributed by hasbro? Like will we nd up seeing this SG Ratchet in the TF Wiki?

I don't understand why anyone believed the Bluestreak rumor in the first place. FP specifically stated that the CC figure would have a new head, and Prowl's head extremely similar to Bluestreak's, so it wouldn't to make a new one.

As for the figure itself, I was right on it being Ratchet, and it's really cool that you have five options for it.

Leftovers will be found on the club's website. Unpainted of course, since this is a custom class and the whole point is you have to paint it yourself. You also have to be a club member to purchase it.

I'll vouch for N. I remember him calling it as Ratchet. ;)
I'm relieved it's not Bluestreak. Unlikely, but maybe will see him down the road.
Love that Ratchet head sculpt.

Ya, good point. That would look better.
The translucent HFGs and weapons are strange and wonderful though.

That's pretty cool. I've never been to botcon and I've always wondered what is used to paint these. I've always been scared the paint would just smear.

Heck if black paint is an option you could totally make a very IDW prowl out of that.

I never stated it on Seibertron, but I been predicting Ratchet since the reveal of Terrorsaur shot down my Red Wing hopes.
