Unfortunately, they listed them 12 hours after I bought a Botcon Ratchet on eBay that had the Shattered glass and G1 stickers for $200 just so I could get the sticker sheet. Urgh.

Cool, glad we'll get to see a Seibertron gallery of Magnaboss! (No rush, of course.) Wasn't sure if the eclectic combination of self-customized retail toys and exclusives would be worth the effort or not. Looking forward to it.

Normally I'd say no, but "Predacus" needs his arch-enemy plus the sticker sheets are really nice (and extensive), so it helps make it feel like it was all intended. I have to give them credit for going beyond the call of duty with these stickers to help make Silverbolt, Ironhide and Prowl feel different enough that they can go with the rest of the BotCon 2016 toys.

On the flipside, you got the SG stickers, which I'm told was the most popular of the five sticker sets for those who took the classes.

Well, thanks for putting the extra effort in! (I suppose the same should be said of all the Seibertron galleries.)

I was also impressed with how in-depth they went with Magnaboss - I was just expecting stock Silver/Prowl/Iron + two other retail Combiner Wars Autobots. Ironhide's grey detailing looks pretty sharp.

The Magnaboss did some out pretty swell, and I would buy him he is cool enough.

I might use the retail Scattershot/Betatron torso for Magnaboss... Just to give him a different flavor than Superion, and put that non-box set Scattershot to use.

I use mine as the body to go with Ratchet, Medix, Alpha Bravo, and Rook. Betatron is now the backup Protectobot team!

Regarding Megatron...

Anyone else find that his elbows are kind of weak compared to all previous versions?

I tried to tighten them, but the screws don't seem to affect that tension.

I've notice almost all samples of the figure have some seam gap in the forearms as they approach the joint as well.

Thoughts? Confirmations?

I want to open mine, but then I remember he's worth $600 and I'll have to wait until I'm either desperate for booze money and sell him or his value tanks (maybe after the second run at that other con?) and I can buy a second to silence the voices for a while.

So I finally got my non-attendee set the other day, and I'm a little underwhelmed by it.

The Ravage head is better than people generally said, just flat (as you all know), and I really like the combined modes head, but the other figures are kinda disappointing.

I know it's to go with the original figure, butt he extensive use of the red colour makes the set as a whole feel kinda knock-offish.

No disappointed I got it, just wish I'd maybe gone for someone re-selling it and got it quicker and cheaper.

Finally ordered Tigatron and Unit-3 with the sale over the weekend. Still pricey but much more palatable (shipping to Canada suuuucks). I've had extras of Prowl, Silverbolt, and Ironhide in a drawer for months now.

Sigh. I'd still really like Predacus but it doesn't look like I'll be able to afford him before it's too late. Already have sub 5 to pay for. I get *why* they don't let people buy the loose set without the box but it's still a crummy deal. Even with last weekend's sale, it was $875 CDN shipped for a box and loose set. Right now it's over a grand. And that's presuming I can turn around and sell the box for fair value in order to have the loose set at cost or a slight deal. =P

Yea that's a bummer. I'm sure we'll see a bunch of sales between now and the end of 2016 - or one big holiday sale from Thanksgiving onward. But still. I like to have 2 of most of combiner figures knowing the CW ports will eventually wear out, so DotP loose set is on my radar. Plus, those BATS!!
