There's only a few figures left that I want. I'll wait for them to drop in price and if I don't get them, I don't get them. I'm not going to pay the crazy prices these are listed at now just because they supposedly only have two or three left. As it stands, I can get most of them cheaper elsewhere.

I noticed that the GI Joe/Transformers Crossover figures base price seems to have jumped up a bit prior to the sale.

Same, here! What the hell, Club?

I wish I could remember what some of the other prices were for certain, but it almost looks like the raised most of them to various degrees.
It almost seems like the "10%" off is actually back to the original price.

The two Only Human figures definitely had their prices raised.

So did the pack with with Hologram Megatron, Scarlet, Ratbat, the female scientist who i've never heard off. (easy to check with the GI Joe Club Store)
I do think a number of items had their prices raised though.

Yep, the Hot Rod/Arcee are $29 each on the Joe club store. https://www.toyarama.com/store/2016-g-i ... -p1490.php

That's what I call...

Savagery.

Okay, something's going on. I was perusing the club store... and it looks like everything's back up to full-price! Did the 'final clearance' sale end or something?

Yeah it ended. I suspect with the absolute glut of overpriced overstock; the next sale will be called "the last last one forever and ever"

Strange. They sent out an email two days ago about the prices dropping from 10% to 20%. Though, it looks like they added a few more things again, so maybe that inadvertently auto-reset the prices back up.

That store is shady as hell. They said they were dropping the prices by 10% weeks after weeks until everything was gone. Guess they were full of it.

Agreed. Something's rotten in Denmark, and it looks to be this 'sale'!

Just got an email from the Club, apologizing for the screw-up over the weekend. I'll give them props for admitting their error, and fixing it.

I'll give them a mild benefit of the doubt. This time, at least.

We now have hit 30% off in the Club Store. I gotta admit... most of the stuff there, I don't want. Like Botcon pins or back issues of the club magazine.

Same here for the most part. There are a couple figures that will be good deals eventually, but definitely nothing worth springing on yet. It's mostly exclusive repaints of molds I don't have into characters I don't care about, so I'm a little interested in the toys themselves but I won't be too bothered if they end up selling out before I deem them "worth it" (which for most is probably gonna be about 80-90% off honestly).

53 items are gone now, according the to the 30% email.

It also looks like a bunch of people have bought up a ton of stuff from the Club Store just to resell it all on eBay.

Is there even demand for that garbage?
I hope anyone who have the bright idea to "scalp" TCC's leftovers will be stuck with their sh!t. [-(

In my experience, there's always been a demand for the BotCon 2006 exclusives.

Same. I honestly can't see wanting about 80% of that stuff left. And the stuff I would like, I won't be torn up if I don't get it.

I will admit, I did buy a couple of the guys that form Nexus Prime. But that's been it so far.

I was considering getting all the Nexus Prime guys once the price dropped reasonably far enough, but it looks like a lot of other people had the same idea but a higher threshold for "reasonable price". Since there's only two of the five guys left I'm no longer bothered about them; at least it's not a big deal either way for me.

I feel like that sums up pretty much everyone's feelings on this sale. "I guess I'll get a couple things if the price drops to X% off, but if they sell out before then I don't really care." For all the genius that this style of sale is for the club (and it is genius for them), they're really going out with a whimper as far as fan interest goes.

kurthy wrote:Hello former Transformers' Collector's Club Members;

Today we will begin the final Clearance Sale for all items left in the TCC store. Anyone can order these items.

This is basically going to work like a "Going Out of Business" sale you see in brick and mortar stores.

Today marks the beginning of the final Clearance Sale and everything in the store is 10% off. Approximately every week, the discount will increase 10% until we get to 90% off before the end of the year. Some items only have a quantity of 2 or 3 and are very limited. Some items have a quantity of several hundred. It's up to you to decide the price you want to pay.

All Sales are Final and there are no returns or adjustments for this Clearance Sale. If you wait too long for the price to drop, the items may be gone. If you buy too early, you may not get the lowest price. We will not be making any price adjustments and please do not email or call us with an offer for these pieces. We have gone through everything in the warehouse and we believe that what is online is the last of everything. However, we might stumble on to a few more items once all of the pieces are removed from their bins.

We will not make any price adjustments for past purchases if you find that an item is being offered at a lower price during this Clearance Sale.

Again, there are no returns or exchanges and ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Thank you for your support over the years!

I got the gun-less SG Drift (to replace the one that was stolen from me; I'll have to get replacement guns off eBay), the BotCon 2013 Machine Wars Kreon set, and the BotCon 2007 attendee freebie clear-blue Mirage.

What I plan to get next of what all's left are the BotCon 2005 attendee freebie Flamewar and eight of the BotCon 2013 assembled custom class Blastcharge Strika Drones.

After that, we'll see if there's anything else left that I'll want. Perhaps another BotCon 2009 attendee freebie Leozack since the last one I got was in pretty poor shape, and with two Leozacks I can use one as him and the other as Lyzack.

So I just picked up the Diaclones, Leozack, and Brimstone. I missed out on Sideburns, I needed to replace mine as the leg joint that attached to his hip cracked and his leg fell off. Oh well,

I also wanted that Rubber Ducky Pin since it coulda gone with a tie I own, but oh well.

I LOVE the Dicalones. Burnout may be my new favorite use of the mold, possibly usurping Crosscut (and I am the guy who painted a Clutch for him!) The Hoist mold is just a fun toy all around.

But I gotta be honest, I think Brimstone is my favorite of the lot. I very much liked his Cybertron Toby because it dared to be different than most Pteranodns. The sword mimics the Pteranodon's head and beak so well! I took the one on Air Raid off to use the other part as a blaster, but Brimstone will be keeping his awkward giant sword blade. And the little flourishes on the wings sorta look like claws. YThe shortsword hilt reminds me of his Star Seeker badge's head crest. knew what to expect from the accessories since I had FOC Air Raid and Shockwave, but this figure just works so well for Brimstone. It's not maybe as good as is original, which is still uniquely his, but its good and whomever at FunPub looked at this and said "Yep, Brimstone." Is a genius. .

I still ant to pick up Apelinq, but he's not going for much on Ebay right now, and I don't think I want to buy the three pack just to turn around and sell Trizer and Firestar, I am just not that into those figures.

To anyone who wants Leozack, I don't think we'll have to worry too much about him selling out so soon. As of this typing, Fun Pub still has 30 of him in stock.
