Hypothetically, the "PRiD" transmutate's legit. One question: "Why?"

I guess we can now guess who the "rogue Decepticon" might be.

Gosh dang it, I bought a Beast Hunters Arcee just to customize it into Flamewar, thinking there wouldn't be an official release.

Oh well, my only consolation is I have a chance to make it look better, and I suppose it'll be cheaper to have bought the thing and repainted it by hand than it would be to buy this aftermarket.

The Beast Hunters mold fits Flamewar to a T. Spikier and edgier than regular Arcee. Love it!!

Yeah, not convinced, we've seen pictures of other toys in Botcon bags this year that appeared to be legit but turned out to be a custom in a old bag.

There is no reason for the club to produce a second transmutate, it would cut into the sales of the first one.

The flamewar looks cool, but again, unlikely that they'd have two such similar molds, if the flamewar was made using the FE Arcee I'd be a lot more convinced.

I guess I'll just have to go to Botcon and find out for myself.

Something's odd, look at the polybags. Flamewar's says 2014 and the Transmutate's says 2013.

Flamewar looks decent enough.

So, BH Flamewar transforms from Batgirl's bike into...Yoko from Gurren Lagann???
Or is there another iconic flame-bikini-top out there?

One thing we do know for sure: she ain't the free 12-and-under toy...

Now the new Transmutate is just all kinds of confusing. Could this be another case of a female TF being created via experimentation on a male character, but this time the gender switch was a side effect of curing Electro of gold-plastic-syndrome? Because when I picture her in opposition to FE-Arcee Transmutate, the smoother chest and wider wingspan just says Electro more than Transmutate. Go fig. Really curious to find out what the deal is here.

My guess is that it's something the Club were contemplating for BotCon last year but instead they used a different mold and made it the Club figure this year.

damnit i want one, but i doubt i can afford it so ill just pick up a BH Arcee and paint it my self

Flamewar makes a buttload of sense. Can't wait to see more of the other souvenirs.

Transmutate makes a buttload of "wat" and "why". I'd like to think that this was a concept that the Club was considering, but decided to ditch it.

Transmutate was always too weird a character IMO.

BUT Flamewar on the other hand: SO MANY TIMES YES!!!

Flamewar does make a whole lot of sense. In fact, I'm guessing she'll be the Attendee Freebie figure like the BotCon 2005 one. Gotta stay consistent, you know?

Now, Trans-Mutate is a whole different animal. Maybe either will be the Freebie, one as Flamewar herself, the other as a disguise? Either way, I want them.

It's true. Taobao is where we saw most of the 2010 BotCon figures early, but it's also where we saw that supposed Glyph from the Classics Bumblebee mold. So take everything there with a pinch of salt.

Man, i really love that Flamewar, but I've been really happy with the Legion figures of her and Arcee because they scale nicely with Deluxes. Not that EVERY bike should or has to, the Junkions come to mind as Cybertronan Motorcycles, but Flamewar and Arcee were cool, and can ride their rear wheel into battle.

I really hope that Flamewar happens. I want her.

Got this right off another site, like previous years apparently a list of exclusives has begun spreading around. A couple of good surprises there, and some unexpected Troop Builders. Don't know if I should post it tho, I do have it saved.

Is it the one with Alpha Trion from Prime Thundertron, Pounce and Wingspan from the regular Vehicon and Air Vehicon respectively, Apelinq from Cybertron Beast Optimus Prime, etc.?

Pounce and Wingspan are definitely oddballs, one would think Fastlane and Cloudraker would have been better choices for these molds. Maybe Jhiaxus is offering his services?

Alpha Trion out of Thundertron would be a no-brainer, as would be Apelinq out of BW 10th Primal. Rampage as Shokaract... too soon?

The last time someone suggested Fastlane and Cloudraker from the Vehicon molds, it was pointed out that the Vehicon molds look too evil to work as Autobots, even with a new head.

Besides, the Vehicon molds make rather a spiffy Decepticon Clones pair - Click here
