First, this is not what I want for the sidebar. However, in the interest of time, I completely rebuilt the right sidebar to use modern code. I will come up with something cooler later down the road. In the meantime, we have new G1-catalog styled menus. Here's a teaser image.

We're getting a new footer. I know no one else is excited about this other than me probably, but here's a sneak peak at the new footer. I'm contemplating a newsletter signup where you can receive weekly emails with curated news and info ... but that's dependent on resolving the problem with figuring out how to get Microsoft to stop blocking emails from our server. If anyone works at Microsoft or has a connection, please let me know. Thanks.

I like the new condensed footer. (Black background box looks somewhat weird, but I'm sure the alignment will be fixed at some point.)

The black background of the footer with top and bottom blue bars isn't centered horizontally... is what I would say, but now I'm not so sure. It appears fine when I zoom in in the image preview page and when I downloaded and opened the file. It's when I'm zoomed out that there's a portion missing to the left side of it...

It must be my browser's fault somehow, because there's noticeable columns on the left and right of it that don't show the magnifying glass icon on hover.
