Oh also, as for NPCs, mods like to keep it limited to three characters to start. You could apply for NPCs but until the mods have a feel for your activity levels and you have a feel for the game, they like to keep it to three.

Also you know there's a fanmade stat total of 70 points you can distribute, yes? You can go less but you can't go over. One of yours does. Also the one that does, Air-Raider does not have the stats of a warrior. More the stats of a scientist/medic.

I like to break out stats like this. Strength, Speed, Endurance, Firepower are related to what they turn into usually. Like with a tank, I'd say high strength, endurance and firepower but low speed. With jets, it tends to be low strength and endurance, but high firepower and speed.

The rest of the stats tend to deal with what they can do. Melee is how good you are in close quarters combat. If this is low, it doesn't super matter how much strength you have when dealing with someone with a higher melee score. But having high melee and high strength is a very potent combination for a martial artist. And so forth and so on. PM me if you have more questions.

You also may want to take a look over Ember's Application Template as she did a good quick summery of stats. Also Cry's Rules and Guidelines post gives a bit more depth in the stats (further down the post).

A good rule of thumb is that 5 in a stat is average. For example a 5 in tech would mean the character can use technology well. Can drive a car, use a computer, fix a loose hinge on a door.

A 3 in the stat would need someone guiding them to do what we consider simple tasks.

A 3 in charisma would be a character that has no personal skills and no one would want to follow except out of fear (as in Motormaster's case), and no one wants hanging out around them.

Fox mentioned how stats are related, and that is a very good point. Also keep in mind how stats charisma, intelligence, and courage relate to the personality of the character and how others relate to the character.

Stats are both skill and personality, don't sacrifice one for the other. And remember to match what you write in Profile: with the stats. A low charisma is not a friendly mech, and probably has no desire to be either (the only time you can get around that is if the stat is higher than the the description on purpose, such as a charisma higher than described because the character uses bitterness as a shield, but if you can get them to drop their guard they are really very nice, or something of that sort)

Hmm, i see, but i kinda design the Combators, the team to not care what each others stats are, but I should proberaly tweak them a bit more for interaction with other characters and that. I take another look at them and see what I can change while keeping them how I had created them once before. And um, when Fanmade combiners do come out, this one's going to have a lot of members. My Combator team started with five members, but has seemed to grow, to having around 11 members. Each with a different spot on the combined form in my other universe with him.

Right... This is the point where I step out. I haven't been able to explain things well lately (ask the poor bank teller I tried to talk to Saturday) so instead of making a mess of it..

Fanmade combiners will not likely ever be made available. Just a heads up. If this impacts your decision to join the game, I understand, but I hope you'll still consider joining up. I do recommend trying out a canon gestalt team character. We have several available.

I believe we have open slots in each of the three Autobot special teams(Aerialbots, Technobots, Protectobots). The Technobots have a primitive version of computron and Superion is in the midst of being built, I really should get back to Superion. If you want a Con special team member, there are several options for them as well.

I am thinking of running the Rescue Patrol, particularly Fixit, at Autobot City as NPC. Would anyone object to this without me making an application? I am hoping to make an app for them and the Construction Patrol in near future. I am betting Pharma will need a good pair of hands for assistance. Since they are technically micromasters, the bios will need a decent amount of rework.

Are you going to turn them into full size mechs? Because if you are, I would like to join you and play Stakeout or Seawatch. :)

In this RPG, they have to full sized since the micro technology doesn't really exist.

Not necessarily true....though it is for the most part. Someone recently got approved for a minicon partner, and one of my guys has a very small sibling that could technically be a targetmaster.

Incinerator is 12 ft and I think is the smallest in the rp (at least if active characters, Psychout is smaller, he was 7 feet, but he was a cassetticon) so technically not a minicon, but damn close.

How would you do breakout stats for a Mach Truck?, Just asking that’s all...

My personal opinion would be higher strength and endurance, average speed. Firepower would have more to do with the character's role in this case as trucks don't come with weapons under normal circumstances.

Think about the vehicle.. trucks are meant to pull heavy loads so they would have to be strong to do that. They would be able to wear heavier armor because they were made strong and to keep going, meaning endurance would be higher as well.

Though big, they travel at average speeds so they can be around a 5 in speed.

Hope that helps. :)

I have not been active here in a while (My character was an OC, Flash Freeze) any tips on how I could rejoin?

Looks like Flash Freeze was in Syria. Since he’s a fanmade, you can just dive back in. The Cons are headed back to the warehouse with UN warplanes flying overhead, undecided on a possible air strike. FF can interact with Astrotrain and Octane in order to get rolling again or whoever wanders back into the area.

Many apologies for my four-year disappearance, college and a day job at ANN took my time away from the rpg forum for a while and I have returned to continue where my characters were left off. How would I be able to bring back my oc, Gullet into the fray once more?

Also, Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah-wheep-ni-ni-bong!

Also, one more thing; Would it be possible to adapt Lugnut into the rpg's continuity? If there's a possibility, how would his application need to adapt his character for this universe?

The rpg is sort of in stasis at the moment. But if and when it gets some flow again, your oc would be easy to work back in. Lugnut has been referenced in the game and could be made to work, it would just be a longer convo.

Right now, all,of our energon batteries are pretty low, so to speak and figuring out how to get enough juice to write again has been an ongoing challenge/conversation.

Okay that is good, sorry for being gone for a long while; I never would imagine college work would overtake my time in the community. Luckily, having finished college and living on my own, this has rejuvenated the energon in my core systems once more.

Quick question: how has the rp-verse changed for the Autobots and Decepticons since I was last around, my memories been hazy since the last roleplay.
