Ok and it was the way I read it, so many are down on the toon especially on Reddit. Savage land was from Marvel, that is where Kazar and Devil Dinosaur lived, it is where the Dinobots confronted Shockwave. The other 3 stamps were comic style and the book was Marvel Uk. Maybe they tried a flair from every continuity on the stamps.
Yes, I believe I've heard about the savage land in one of Chris Mcfeely's the basic videos. I don't know where you read the G1 cartoons sucks, maybe you were reading the bay verse fan opinions. I will admit the G1 cartoon had a few issues, but it was being assembled, written and recorded at the same time, writers couldn't think ahead too much. It's the first transformers show ever, so that gives it a lot of leeway. I enjoy what it has to offer. Reminds me of how everyone says BW animation sucks while it won awards and was the best for the time and they had to INVENT new technology to make it.
I always loved the blocky G1 designs the most. They were nice, clean, and simple. Easy to draw.
But this doesn't mean I can't appreciate other shows too (Cyberverse was fun , and the Bumblebee movie)
Back to what I was saying, I can't tell the original comics apart. The art style is pretty much the exact same. But I can confirm ALL of them were drawn in the comic style. And that is COOL, I expresss no contempt or dislike of the G1 cartoon or comics. And I'm sure the bumblebee "firing squad" was from the G.I. Joe crossovers, correct me if I'm wrong
Sorry my message was so long. I'm sure there are already 3 replies to you already....
