Yes the PS2 game was the best version of Armada. Excellent game and cinematic cut scenes. A Cyclonus actually seemed menacing, better voice too. Hotshot and Red Alert were nicely portrayed too.

Plus love that scene where Prime interrogates Starscream. Nice to see him actually get ticked off and the music in that scene was just great.

Sorry to go off topic, just love that game. If only the game makers had made the cartoon series. Anyone who can make Armada seem that cool is a legend.

Armada Prime is way cooler. I like Armada Prime. Armada Prime works for me. I really like Prime from Armada series.

The Armada Optimus is better, i like the armada one cause it looks a little like the G1 optimus

I have only really been exposed to G1, Armada and Beast Wars. Optimus Primal is okay. Just okay. All I can say is he's trying. But G1 and Armada I like. Superb voice casting for both, says I! Peter Cullen is a no freakin' duh, charisma and command presence at once. But I don't know if many people realize that Armada Prime is the same. They both seem to project an aura of 'trust me, I know what I'm doing' and 'don't worry; it's all good with me at the helm'.

I don't know whether anyone's mentioned the idea of 'command presence' before, but they've got it. The voice actors managed to imbue the both of them with a tone of voice that sounds strong, compassionate and wise all at once... the kind of guy who just makes you WANT to follow him.

I would say Armada only cause the fact that Optimus acts different in Energon and he is really bulky.

almost like they did with the BW comics, but they got a little carried away with the numbers.

like the BW and BM story lines.
a little bit of standard info, all new characters, and a interesting story.
