Honestly, I totally agree with you Micromaster -- aside from the chest, this guy's a shoe-in for MP-10. And even then there's something vaguely IDW-esque about it I can't quite pin down... either way, he's totally going with Leader Soundwave, Leader Jetfire and Leader Thundercracker for the ex-RiD display :D

Takara will probably do an anime accurate version.

Sludge being smaller than Grimlock doesn't ring right to me but everything else here is neat.

The change of Swoop's chest from red to blue must have been a last-minute one, explaining why his stock render was kept hidden at the panel.

Seriously loving the dinobots. I can't believe we are getting new dinobots that look like the originals, apparently transform roughly the same as the originals, and have the added capability of combining. That's just awesome.

My only complaint is the fear of stickers. I hate stickers, and I see a few there. Hopefully Takara fixes that issue, if it actually is one when the final product hits the shelves.

Judging by Orion Pax's legs the rear of the cab mode will look like a joke...but then even MP-10's trailer hitch looks a little funky

Always thought Barbaricus would be a good Dino Combiner name.

We have had a Combiner made from dinosaur Transformers from the not-to-distant-past that went by a similar name...

Everything looks fantastic :HASBRO: you've really knocked it out of the park. I want everything so bad.

So far, so good. Dinobots look rad (if not simplistic). While they look a little too similar to their G1 toys, but given that we barely get the other four members, I'll let that slide. Optimus looks alright, but the altmode looks pretty unfinished to me; still hope to get it for an MP-10 substitute.

I find it a little sad that the first question asked at the panel's Q&A was about the Brave Series.

Looks like slash is a fembot, does that mean the movie one is too? I guess that makes the kibble work as a ponytail.

Slash, Swoop, Slug and Grimlock are all wave 1.

Snarl, Sludge are wave 2.

It's nice of Hasbro to actually have a full 'through the ages' mini-exhibition though, I'll give them that. :)

Nope. The movie one uses male pronouns in its bios.

Given the LeMans-esque car mode on new Jazz I'd really love to see a Deluge from it.

Is this all there's gonna be for Power of the Primes reveals, or might there be more today or tomorrow?

One of the streams/clips/Periscopes I was following earlier mentioned he may have something to do with Mirage, actually!

That would be a waste; I'm pretty happy with the two deluxe neo-G1 figures we already got and the chest in robot mode would be totally wrong.

Dang, perhaps my excitement over blue swoop was premature
One of the decos was presumably scrapped last minute in favour of the other, I can only hope that the blue won out!
Also that this doesn't become a repeat of the grey/tan onslaught nonsense from the other year...

it bothers me that Frank Welker still hasn't attended a convention yet in California or the West Coast, he's been a priority of mine to meet for several years now.

I hope they release both color swoops, the red deco as an exclusive or a running change.
