Looking for non-transformers toys!

I'm looking to the community to help me on this. Although Transformers are my #1 favorite toy ever, I am looking to find other types of transforming toys that aren't released within the US.

For instance, does anyone remember Big Bad Bettle Borgs? Or Power Rangers?

I am looking for any and every type of toy that can transform from a vehicle/animal/ object of some sort, into a robot.

If anyone can provide a list of various brands, toys, shows, whatever, that has anything in relation to this, I would be forever grateful.

I know of many third party toys for transformers, so please avoid those.

Knock offs are welcome too, as I am looking for OVERSIZED Transformers toys as well.

We have a special forum dedicated to non-Transaformers toys, with KO's and 3rd Party separated: Non-Transformers Toy Discussion.

Well, limited to stuff unreleased in the US? You, my friend, have expensive taste :) I can get you off on a good start with these suggestions:

Yuusha series (aka Brave series)
They can be considered the cousins to Transformers, as they were also made by Takara, to fill in the space Transformers left there. There are 7 series in all, and the toys have a lot of variation between them. What they do share is Victory's upgrade mechanic for the leaders, and combiners for most of the cast.

Machine Robo
I know, I know, I'm playing for the other team, but hear me out. Even though the US got them in the form of Gobots, some were designed exclusively for the Japanese market (and then imported into Europe):

W (Double) Machine Robo: Think properly done Duocons
R. JeTan: a big bad boy, feature 3 modes plus a half-arsed one.
Drill Crasher: his companion, has drill tank, rhino and robot modes.

I got a couple more, if you're interested :)

Another line fun line to look into is "Mojibakeru", a line with transforming Kanji (Chinese characters). They change into whatever the Kanji represents (like fish, horse, dragon), so they're educational as well :) The later series has more abstract concepts (like speed, super, wind) and can seemingly combine as well.

A good thing to do is look at Japanese YouTube reviewers, but since the language barrier may be a problem, I'll give you a channel without speech:

YouheiDX' channel

He specialises in stop-motion animation and has a love for candy kits (though he goes overboard with them at times...), even showing how to build them.
